Devil May Cry 4 walktrough for computer

Tips umum

2. Air Hike (in the abilities section of the Power Up menu) is necessary for many secret areas in the game, such as secret red orb locations and blue orb fragments, so it should be given a high priority in Power Up menus.

3. In general (these are general tips, after all) Nero's gun is too weak to be efficient or useful, while Dante's various guns are strong enough to be helpful.

4. For Nero, you typically use slashes primarily to take away enemy health with Busters (O button) mixed in, which deal more damage. Keeping a good mix of these methods and using varying sword attacks all the time gives you a better Stylish level, which helps give you more Proud Souls to upgrade.

5. If a boss ever appears to be slumped over or dazed, that typically means you can perform a special Buster attack on them to cause major damage.
Mission 01: Birds of a Feather

Boss #1: Dante
1. When the cutscene ends, you'll fight against Dante. The first half is just a tutorial. Follow the on screen instructions to learn the controls.

2. Once you've gotten to the real boss fight part, your revolver is useless, as Dante will shoot all of your bullets to cancel them out.

3. Use your simple triangle sword combos to defeat Dante along with your buster. Even after the fight gives you a health bar, this is still meant to be a tutorial, so you shouldn't have too much trouble.

Mission 02: La Porte De L'Enfer
1. Check out the upgrade screen ("Power Up") for the first time and buy something in the somewhat rare event that you have enough proud souls.

2. As you have seen in the cutscene, "scarecrows" have begun a massacre in the city, so they're going to be your enemy here. You can now use Nero's Exceed powers by charging your blade with L2. Your revolver is (and will always be) relatively useless, so use your sword combos and busters in clearing out the enemies.

3. Enter the blue door with the red orb in front of it after clearing the plaza.

4. When inside, use the kick jump as instructed by the on-screen tip to reach the gold orb. Be sure to break all the boxes, barrels, chairs or anything breakable-looking you see for more red orbs.

5. Once you go upstairs, you'll enter your first sealed room, meaning that you cannot leave until you've killed the enemies within, in this case three more scarecrows.

6. Go out to the terrace, ignore the scarecrows down below, and head back inside the next door.

7. Ignore the currently unreachable orbs for a minute and just head down and examine the blue pillar to gain the "evil legacy" and more powers for your devil bringer. With these new powers, you can use Hell Bound to vault up and get out of the cathedral. Use your new power, Snatch with R1 + O, to get that big red orb you saw upon coming in. Trying to jump the gap will just force you to climb up again. Head outside through this new red door.

8. Once outside, vault across the plaza to the other terrace. You'll be taught about secret missions, with an obvious one standing right in front of you in pillar/lamp form with a red scroll on it. Press O to play it, and attempt to earn a blue orb fragment. Secret mission help is detailed nearer the bottom of the page.

9. Jump across to a new terrace where two scarecrows will mob you in another sealed door scenario. Take care of them (try to get them both on one side of you to avoid getting surrounded) then head on through to the next terrace. You'll meet yet another sealed door with more scarecrows. This time you'll have more room to face them. Move on to the residential district.

10. Fall down (don't be scared) and get ready for more scarecrows. Be sure to break everything, especially the huge red crystal. Jump up onto the rooftops just to the right of the red crystal, following a path of small red orbs that will lead you to your first blue orb fragment. These will eventually help increase your health capacity.

11. Fall back down to street level between the dumpster and tall tower. If you can manage to kick jump to the top of the tower, there's a secret red orb stash as reward for you. Move on to the door leading to Port Caerula.

12. Move along the left path along the docks to reach the Grim Grip. Go in the blue door to the Customs house for another scarecrow battle.

13. Once you've cleared them out, hit that blue thing(?) several times to open the blue sealed door. Head up, (no you can't use the ladder), and out.

14. Examine the switch up ahead for a cutscene, then backtrack to the new lowered bridge.

15. You'll have another fight with scarecrows, then continue forward while destroying the garbage bins.

16. First Mining Area: Go down the gap across the room for some red orbs, then use the Grim Grips to boost up to the level above. Here you'll find your first Combat Adjudicator (you may know it as a "crazy-looking statue"). Hit it over and over with a large variety of attacks until you reach stylish level B (for Brutal) and then it will give you another blue orb fragment. Just past it is a divinity statue, which will allow you to power up as you did before the mission began. You won't have new proud souls, but you should have plenty enough red orbs to buy a blue orb, giving you more maximum health.

Boss #2: Berial
1. Don't let this guy freak you out. You may have already beaten him if you played the demo at some point, and he's really not that hard to beat in the end. Even if you die a few times to figure out his style, you'll get him at some point.
2. STRATEGY: The general pattern here is to slash Berial a lot up close while attempting to avoid his repeating attacks. Enough slashes will make him sort of slouch and lose his fire, which means you need to jump up and perform a Buster (O) on him, then do that again once he's on the ground. After that Buster, run away and shoot him a bit with your revolver when you're at a safe distance from his huge explosion attack.
3. Berial's Attacks: If he rears back with his sword, get ready to roll (R1 + X) to one side, though you won't always dodge successfully. If he puts his hand to the ground, keep running in one direction as geysers of fire spew out, no matter where you are. If he rears back with extra fire and without his sword out, roll in one direction as he suddenly charges you. Any other general slashes can be avoided generally by jumping in one direction.
4. Just remember to keep slashing and shooting when far away, and jump up for your Buster attacks or else you won't get to immediately use the second one while he's down. Also, use your Devil Bringer to Snatch for a few seconds of mid-air chopping. Good luck, and that's the end of Mission 02.
Mission 03: The White Wing
1. Head straight back into the action. Some scarecrows are waiting for you right at the start. As you approach the scarecrows, there is a path to the left with a rickety wooden fence blocking the path. Break it for another huge red crystal of red orbs. Go back to upgrade if you didn't have enough when powering up at the mission start menu.
2. At the waterfall, jump up so you can reach the series of Grim Grips that will help you up and out. Halfway up, you can stop and hop down among some roofs to get a large red orb. There is a really tough blue orb available if you use the Grim Grips above where you are at the large red orb. Kick-jump off of the wall past the second of them, pointing up to grip another set of Grim Grips. Unfortunately, the final platform is very tough to actually land on.
3. Move on over the railroad tracks halfway up the cavern, then face a few more scarecrows. Afterwards, continue up next to the ladder and be sure to check the path to your left as you move on for a vital star.
4. Break the fence to get out to a snowy new area. Immediately on your left on a mountainside is a small area with a large red orb you can jump up to. Continue back along the snowy trail until you reach a cutscene and a new type of enemy - Frosts. You can break some pillars in this area for goodies. The cutscene comes at the broken bridge in front of Fortuna Castle.
5. After dealing with the Frosts (keep one away from you at all times with your Buster move) hop up onto the bottom left and right pillars (the ones that don't break when you shoot or chop them) to receive secret orbs. Move on to the castle gate for another cutscene with Gloria.
6. Once you've finally entered the gate, you'll reach the Grand Hall, where you should collect orbs by destroying everything. Afterwards, you may power up with another statue in the NW corner of the room. Your next door is just south of that statue.
7. Your old friends, the scarecrows, are back. Be sure to smash any candlesticks for red orbs. There's another upgrade statue at the north end of this Large Hall, but you need to go in a door in the west end.
8. Once inside the Torture Chamber, you reach a sealed room with several scarecrows to beat. After moving on up the stairs, there's a room with spikes at the ceiling (actually where you just were) with some particularly difficult Grim Grips. Some disappear from time to time and others move, but you basically have to just hit them all as quickly as you can to get across. Any drops will mean you have to face the same scarecrow horde again. Yep, it's a torture chamber. Hold R1 for every independent jump you have to make and just mash the O button as fast as you can. Have some sense with it though. There are some short instances where this policy will fail you.
9. Once you're through to the Grand Hall 2nd floor, you should move north along the perimeter, making sure to grab the two red orbs on the wall through a kick jump and snatch move. Magical barriers (glorified invisible walls) will prevent you from entering any door but the correct one.
10. You'll move outside to find two surprisingly tough Frosts. Use your Buster wisely to keep one away from you, and watch out for their ice bullet attacks. Remember your Exceed powers with L2.
11. Move along north, until you find a weird lamp/pillar thing with a vital star above it. You can reach it, but you have to kick-jump on the pillar so that you land on top of it, then jump. It's a bit tough, but just go to the side, kick jump without holding in any direction, then calmly move in the correct direction just after you start coming back down.
12. As you continue east from the pillar, another combat adjudicator will appear, but it is red, meaning only Dante can use it. Continue through the door. Another two Frosts will confront you, so deal with them as you did earlier.
13. Continue south to get back into the Grand Hall, on the opposite side of the room. There's a blue pedestal to hit that will allow you on through. Don't go through the door yet. On your way south from the pedestal, a large mirror sits on the right wall that you can break to find another blue orb fragment. Now, continue through that door you opened up.
14. The Gallery you enter will be sealed with lots of scarecrows and lots of red orb stuff to break. Ignore the gyro blade and continue into the Library. A red orb stash does exist on a pillar outside, but you'll need Air Hike. Once you continue on past the Divinity Statue, you'll see a cutscene with a Bianco Angelo. Despite the build up, they're easy to beat as all you really have to watch out for is their charge attack, then go around their back and use a Buster on them. They block attacks to their front. After you've beaten them, collect any remaining orbs and examine the anima mercury in the golden pillar. This concludes Mission 03.
Mission 04: Cold Blooded
1. Thanks to that Anima Mercury, you can now move the Gyro Blades with your Buster attack. As the tutorial screen suggests, slashing the Gyro Blades before using your Buster makes them more deadly when they hit enemies. Guide the first Gyro Blade through that blue door to escape the library. You've got to leave that Gyro Blade in there, so don't spend forever trying to get it to squeeze through the door.
2. Once you get back to the Gallery, two scarecrows and eventually two Frosts will attack you. Use the Gyro Blade if you wish, but it's not necessary to kill them.
3. Once out into the Grand Hall, text along the bottom of the screen suggests that the blue coffin in the middle of the hall you hopefully noticed "is summoning" a gyro blade, meaning you should find one to smash that coffin open with. Jump down to the lower floor and look in the north section for a Gyro Blade, which you should promptly use to break it. Also, break the chairs to get red orbs if you'd like. The broken coffin will reveal a "seal" that doesn't help you yet. Go through the eastern door.
4. In the Large Hall, the game basically tells you to collect the four Gyro Blades in the area and place them on the four circles up north. You have to use one of the Gyro Blades already in its place on a circle and take it to the SW corner to break open the wall to another. Enemies will appear after you go to retrieve the various blades, but simply charge yours by slashing it then Buster it right into them to clear them out immediately. Either before or after this retrieval, go to the door just above the iron-gated area containing another Gyro Blade.
5. Inside this Dining Room are two Bianco Angelos and plenty of stuff to break. Beat them using the strategies suggested when they were first encountered at the end of Mission 03, then head through the door and look west for another Gyro Blade as you hear a fire cannon on the other end of the hallway. Use the Gyro Blade as a shield and make your way on down towards the fire cannon, sending the Gyro Blade into it to destroy it and reveal a new Secret Mission (#2). Completing the secret mission will return your Gyro Blade to its original position, but you won't need it, so don't worry.
6. Now you are into the caged area with the next Gyro Blade you need. Once you move in a bit, the blue pedestal you'll need to hit to get out is sealed off. Scarecrows will attack you again. Get rid of them, hit the blue pedestal, then take your Gyro Blade and eliminate the scarecrows that appear outside the now open caged area. Take that Gyro Blade to the circles in the north then get the last one in the SW if you haven't already. The four blades combined will open up the blue seal and grant you access to a large green orb and a door. Go through that door, obviously, and be ready for a boss fight.
Boss #3: Bael
1. The first cutscene will reveal the Rusalkas, two blue enemies that you'll soon discover aren't exactly real. Once you're in battle, focus on one of them and keep hitting them until they pull away. As they pull away from you, just use Streak (R1 + triangle and up, if you've purchased it) to quickly close the gap and keep hitting them. Eventually, they'll pull straight up and you need to start running away, as the real boss is about to jump right at you. This will trigger another cutscene.
2. The huge toad you now face will use a few different attacks on you. First of all, he'll try and jump on you. Roll away to avoid his shadow. Also, he'll shoot ice spikes which have shadows. Move away from their shadows. Then, if he takes in a breath and his throat gets bigger, just run in one direction to get away. Otherwise, keep slicing him and use a Buster on either his tongue or tail tip when he sticks his tongue out and flops down.
3. Eventually, he'll retreat and the Rusalkas will come back, so use the same strategy. Buster one if she collapses and turns red, which will pull Bael back out.
4. When he eventually turns red, he'll basically just try to jump on you more. If he freezes, get away from his mouth area, otherwise he will eat you.
5. In general, don't worry too much about being close to him, especially if you're not directly in front of him. He'll usually just try to increase the gap between you. After he's dead, mission complete.
Mission 05: Trisagion
1. You will be introduced to the Mephistos. These cloaked enemies require you to use Snatch on them a few times. This will remove their cloak, then you can slice and Buster them on the ground in their smaller form. If your tutorial mode is on, you'll be told about the Rusalka corpse ability. This allows you to better find secrets. The Devil Bringer will light up and you will hear sounds similar to a mine detector. This will help you find the secret red orb stash on the second block down on the eastern wall. Just stand on top of it. Destroy all of the tombs in the area for orbs. The other Rusalka clue around here is a secret mission under the stairs. You'll have to wait until Mission 08 to actually be able complete it. Head up the stairs and through the door.
2. Once inside, two and eventually three Bianco Angelos will attack you. Dispose of them, then break the surrounding objects for orbs. Break the mirror above the fireplace for another Secret Mission. It will be #10.
3. When you go through the the door, there will be a blue pedestal adjacent to you. Use it to lower the spiked ceiling so you can get the Gyro Blade across (the game won't let you fall, invisible walls will save you). Use that Blade to break the blue pillar, and then you'll fall down into the Spiral Well.
4. Here you face more Mephistos (Snatch the cloak off, then pummel their smaller form). A sealed item will be unsealed (the wing talisman).
5. The wing talisman will allow these platforms to boost you up. Use the platforms to make your way up, taking plenty of time to collect red orbs and other items on various ledges. The controls are very simple, because you can magically move in mid-jump. Go into the open cells on the ledges. One has a red crystal and another has a secret red orb stash when you walk into it far enough. Some holy water lays just below one ledges' tip (it's blue, just fall off of it close enough and you'll snatch it.) Once you jump off of the top platform, you'll be brought back up where you need to go.
6. You will be back in the Torture Chamber. Here you must fight that same old group of scarecrows, plus two more Mephistos, which can cause some problems. Take care of them as best you can. Head through the door just south of you into the Grand Hall.
7. In the Grand Hall, the game will hint that you should use the glowing platform with your wing talisman. Break all the chairs and benches first, then check out the Divinity Statue in the room if you have enough red orbs for something. When ready, go onto that platform.
8. The platform helps you up onto the chandelier, which will look like you should slice it. Do so for a cutscene. Go into the new room, down the stairs, Snatch the green vital star behind the cage if you wish. Head on through that door downstairs.
9. Go down this hall and watch a cutscene, which ends the mission.
Mission 06: Resurrection
1. Don't Jump! Move around the top area first to get that blue orb fragment on the other side. Barrels now can be destroyed for red orbs, by the way. Continue forward. There's another Dante combat adjudicator down here that you can't use.
2. Once you go through, a cutscene plays to introduce you to Cutlasses, a new shark/lizard enemy. These can be rather difficult, especially when there's only one left. Target one, shoot it to slow it down, then Snatch it towards you and Buster it to pull it up. It will quiver on the ground and you can hit it, but the others will hit you while you're trying to do that. When there's just one left, it keeps attacking over and over. You have to wait for it to try to get you from below (red will appear on the floor below your feet), then side-roll to dodge it. Finally, Snatch it while it's above ground.
3. Welcome to the Game Room. There's a board game on the floor with a figurine of Nero on a space, and a huge rotating die. Apparently, whichever number is face-up on the die when you hit it with a Buster is the number you'll get, even after it rolls. Therefore, you can work out the series and get whatever number you want with enough practice. Red spaces give you enemies to fight, blue spaces drop orbs in some way, white spaces make you roll again and yellow spaces move to the next yellow space. You have to move around through all this to eventually land on the exit space. Once you're finished, there's a Divinity Statue up the small stairs if you need it before moving on.
Boss #4: Agnus' Containment Room
1. Inside the room you'll see a cutscene to meet Agnus and his Gladius creatures (Latin for sword). The health bar at the bottom of the screen is for the glass separating you and Agnus. Buster the Gladii to send them into the glass and lower that bar. The floor will sometimes be electrified (forecast by warning alarms and yellow sparks), so just jump on the center platform and try not to get hit by too many Gladii. Jump around to dodge them, but otherwise just Snatch and Buster.
2. After you jump in where the containment glass was, you get a cutscene and you're back to regular play. Now you've earned Yamato, and the Devil Trigger power. There's a secret red orb where Yamato had been in that blue beam. Go outside, and hit that blue pedestal for a new path.
3. Break the barrels around here and go upstairs. Once up, you'll see a blue orb fragment you can reach with a Streak off the edge of the platform followed by an Air Hike, if you've purchased that ability. If timed right after a Streak, Roulette Spin or Snatch have a chance of grabbing it.
4. Kill the Bianco Angelos that face you here, then look behind the yellow statues of cloaked men in the NE corner for Secret Mission 04. Go upstairs for more Bianco Angelos. Go to the SE corner down the ladder for a secret red orb stash. More Bianco Angelos. Head through the door.
5. Examine the green panel to get some platforms to open up. Jump up all of them onto the white pavement area and go down the hallway. You'll end up in the Grand Hall. Go back through the painting, then go immediately right or left through a door.
6. Continue through and kill the Frosts. Keep going, and you'll realize the bridge now exists, so cross it. You'll get a cutscene showing the bridge vanish again. Go through the cave opening and a cutscene will carry you to the end of the mission.
Mission 07: The She-Viper
1. Power up, and be sure to check out the new purple orbs you can buy and the Yamato skills you can now upgrade.
2. As you begin, you should be able to see a pod just on the other side of Nero from your viewpoint. You can break these for red orbs. You'll find several in a log next to the stone arched building up ahead. There's a secret mission in the building, but you can't complete it without Dante, so move on to that red crystal you'll see just past there and hit it for orbs. Go forward.
3. In the next area you'll see a big drop, but move along the left side before dropping for a pod to destroy and then some holy water on a ledge just higher from there. Drop down, pods abound, and some Chimera Seeds (new enemy) will confront you somewhat lazily. Buster them to immediately kill them, they shouldn't give you any trouble yet. You'll be forced by blue walls to go up some stairs and into the Ruined Church.
4. Inside, a cutscene will present the Chimera Seed-driven scarecrows, which can be a bit tougher due to the blades the Chimeras deploy at certain times, no matter what state the scarecrow is in. Shoot them a bit, then use Snatch and Buster to kill them when their blades aren't going. In general, keep distance between them and you. Smash the glass to your right for lots of pods and yet another Dante-only combat adjudicator. You can break some glass below the staircase only to find a "strange tree" blocking your path in that direction.
5. Head up the stairs and hit the blue pedestal. A path across will appear and eventually disappear, so sort of hurry across as the path creates itself slowly.
6. Grim grip across two gaps and then hit the blue pedestal. Platforms like the ones inside the church will appear, but just go onto the first one then come back to land to deal with the Mephistos that will appear. Once they're gone, activate the platforms again, so you don't have to deal with them. If the Mephistos knock you off the platforms, you'll end up in a Torture Chamber-esque area with more enemies to kill.
7. There's a blue orb fragment in mid-air above the fifth set of platforms which you can reach either with Air Hike or a jump, roulette spin, and Snatch. Hurry before the platform disappears, though. Hint: Platforms that are about to disappear become bluer and darker, before suddenly turning red and almost immediately afterwards disappearing. Typically, they're just the set of platforms that had previously come up, but sometimes they'll disappear faster to trick you. Keep on them as they appear until the platforms lead you directly onto a ledge with a door.
8. Go over the bridge or search around for pods, then turn left. At the end of that path behind a tree is Secret Mission 05. Once you've either completed or had enough with that secret mission, go down the right path instead to get to the Ancient Plaza.
9. Near that small pit in front of you, scarecrows and Chimera seeds will come at you. Take care of the seeds first with an instant-kill Buster, or else you'll get the much more irritating Chimera scarecrows. When ready, head out.
10. Now you'll be given a Gyro Blade to bust through those blue walls blocking your way earlier. After that will be more chimeras and scarecrows, so use the Gyro Blade if you wish in dealing with them. Pointing directly south on your map is the second blue door you should break, and the next path you should take.
11. Once onto the catwalk, a large dragon will start chasing you, so proceed towards the camera and break or jump the pods in your way before it breaks the catwalk you're on. You don't have far to go before a cutscene will interrupt and make it look closer than it actually was.
12. A blue adjudicator sits past the door clearly in sight, so hit it with varied attacks until you get to Atomic Stylish level for red orbs and a blue orb fragment. Continue on, kill the chimeracrows, use the Divinity Statue if you wish, charge your exceed and get ready for a boss.
Boss #5: Echidna
1. This boss is a dragon-like creature from earlier with a lady inside its mouth. Here are some strategies for successfully attacking her: if she's in the air, jump up and slashing her. If she's drilled into the ground, jump up and slashing her. If you can see a pink flower object, use a Buster on it. If she ever looks dazed or slumped, use a Buster on her. Use your new Devil power (L1) a fair amount to get extra damage in.
2. She will attack you by: Swinging her head around, in which case you need to be on the ground. Swinging her tail around, in which case you need to be in the air. Zooming around as a dragon, when you should be shooting her, then rolling out of the way when she gets close. Using big tentacles or shooting seeds at you when she's drilled into the ground, just keep moving to dodge them.
3. She's not especially tough for a boss, just use your L1 power, hit seeds on the edges of the map for health if you need to and keep slicing and using Buster on her. The mission is complete once you've beaten her and used your new Sephirothic Fruit to get rid of those strange red trees.

Mission 08: Profession of Faith
1. Move along this path until you move under the arch with a pod on the ceiling. Break it (you may need Air Hike) and you'll get a quick and easy blue orb fragment. Move on through for a quick pair of Chimera Seeds and Scarecrows, which you should defeat in the manner mentioned in the last mission.
2. Once you're into the next area, a strange tree will block your path, but your Sephirothic Fruit will dissolve it if you examine the roots. Move on over the bridge and head north unless you haven't done that secret missions (#5) to the south yet.
3. Move in just a bit more, and a cutscene will show you the new lizardmen, Assaults. The trick for these enemies is to attack them so that they'll block rather than attack you. Once they've started blocking, you can either move around their back or Snatch them then use a Buster to slam them into the ground. Once they're down, start slashing normally. Try not to get surrounded. You only want to deal with one at a time unless you use Streak to hit several at once.
4. Once you moved out of that area, you'll come to the Windswept Valley with the Gyro Blade, but there are no enemies here. Take some time to destroy the pods around here for orbs and health, then move up the steps to the Ruined Church.
5. Several scarecrows and three Assaults will come up inside the church. Deal with them one at a time with the room you have in here. Bust the pods to your right as you enter, then go through to the strange tree below the staircase (you may have to break some glass leading to it).
6. You'll reach an area with a statue and a glowing tablet. Here you get a forest maze "puzzle." The only trick is to look where the statue's shadow is, and head the opposite direction. The tablet sort of hints this by mentioning that you should "seek the light". First, head the wrong direction so you can reach a blue orb fragment.
7. After you've gone the wrong way, Chimeras will attack you. After you've defeated them, a portal back to where you were will be opened. Before using that portal, jump around the edge of the area with Air Hike until you see the blue orb fragment high up in the air. Your Devil Bringer should also help you find it. Just jump up to it if you've bought that ability. Head back through the blue portal, then go the correct way from now on through the woods.
8. Three correct turns will take you to the Forgotten Ruins. Go straight through this bridge to the blue door. A team of scarecrows and Assaults will attack you. Kill them as usual. There's a Divinity Statue here, which you should know means a boss fight is coming up. Continue onward past it and over a long path to trigger the fight.
Boss #6: Angelo Credo
1. This time, you'll be facing Angelo in his angel/demon form. Slashing him in this battle is basically pointless. All you need to use is your revolver and Buster. Keep running and side-rolling to dodge basically every attack Credo uses. Shoot your revolver constantly in breaks to slowly lower his health. After one of his big sword combos, when he's stuck into the ground, use a Buster and you'll hit his shield. You have to do that several times until the shield turns orange, and then one more time so the shield turns blue again. Then your next Buster will be the good one, so you should use Devil Trigger just before you do it. You'll probably only have to do that twice if you've kept firing the revolver.
2. Credo will use various sword combos whenever you come right up to him, so just run up then run away again. Be sure to stay close enough to get up and Buster him once he's finished with his combo. Then, sometimes, he'll throw lances at you, which you should just dodge by running perpendicular to wherever he's throwing from. If you're close enough to him while he's throwing the lances, you can Buster him. Also, you can time it just right to Buster the lances themselves. The mission ends after the cutscene.
Mission 09: For You
1. Items down both sides of this hallway you enter can be broken for orbs. Move on for a scene involving combat between Assaults and some Bianco Angelos, including the new Alto Angelo. Take out the Biancos first by getting behind them as always, though they'll tend to make it harder for you by staying up in the air while the Alto is around. Once they're done, you have to just slice away at the Alto, avoiding his attacks, until his shield is broken (you'll know, he changes color as well) and you can Buster him however many times it takes. Altos are obviously a bit tougher than regular creatures, so watch out.
2. Move to the door into a new, different Grand Hall, with a few benches and pots to break and a combat adjudicator on the left you need to get up to S(mokin') Stylish level to break. Also look for a Devil Star on the opposite side where the adjudicator would be. Examine the red pedestal ahead only to find it won't help you.
3. Now lasers cover the room you were just in, but a door has opened up ont he east side. Just jump over the individual lasers and jump up to that door. Another team of Angelos will attack you, in a much smaller area just to make it even tougher. Lasers appear on each set of doors, so try not to run into them. Some stuff around the room breaks (I'm not quite sure what it was since I was fighting) but it will give you orbs and health, so that helps a lot. Once you've beaten the Angelos, the Key of Cronus will unseal, allowing you to slow time as you Buster the device that appears in the middle of the room. This will slow time and the lasers down, allowing you to go out the door to the west.
4. The next room gives you a secret red orb stash in the middle of a very small pit. Hit the blue pedestal once you've gotten that, then enter the elevator that came down and kill the scarecrows that appear inside. There's not a lot of room, so it may be a good idea to jump up and keep doing mid-air Busters where the scarecrows can't surround you. Once they're dead, the elevator will finally start. You'll see a blue orb fragment, but you have to go up another level before you can drop down and get it. For now, hit the Cronus pedestal to move through the lasers.
5. Frosts will attack you as you enter the next elevator. Have fun with them... Move up once you've finally destroyed them, then go out the wrong door (look around) so you can drop down and get the blue orb fragment. Yes, you'll have to come up again, but you don't have to kill anything else, until you've moved to the third elevator with the Assaults. After the Assaults, you'll reach a room with a Divinity Statue, which means it's about boss time again. Get ready, heal if you have to.
Boss #7: Agnus
1. Right off the bat Agnus shows you his first and most basic attack, two slashes in a row with the Gladius. Just roll and jump away. He'll also charge up several Gladii to send at you that will continue to cycle around the room to try and hit you until you kill them, charge up fireballs to hit you, grab some cutlasses to spin around at you then throw them at you, or go to the center of the room and charge a black cloud of energy that will hit you, no matter what. Also, a charge that will grab you and start draining your life to add to his. Use Devil Trigger to escape his grip when he does that.
2. You must keep slashing him all the time between his attacks, then use Buster whenever he sort of slouches and starts to twitch violently when you slash him. You can Buster the Gladii to throw them at him as well. If he starts charging fireballs or especially that black cloud, you need to start slashing him a lot. Enough hits will force him to stop charging those attacks, and you'll be safe. As always, use Devil Trigger to increase your damage and really increase the damage you deal with Buster attacks. Those are the basics, this fight can be either really tough or really easy depending on the kind of attacks he chooses to use. Mission complete after the fight and a cutscene.

Mission 10: Wrapped in Glory
1. Go back out of this room and across into the elevator. Here you meet yet another super version of a previous enemy, the Faust. It is an improved version of Mephisto. The strategy for defeating them is the same as the Mephistos, only tougher. You still have to Snatch their cloak off then hammer them as you would a regular enemy. For this fight, take on the Mephistos before the big Faust.
2. Once they're dead, you'll be treated to more lasers and Cronus pedestals, so make your way through and slash the blue pedestal. This will open up a way to drop down adjacent to the first set of lasers you went through. Fall down there to get back to the ground floor of this elevator room.
3. Once you're back to the Key Chamber, an Alto and three Bianco Angelos will mob you. This is rough, so use your Devil Trigger and hit stuff around the room to heal. Do your best, then use the Cronus in the middle of the room to get back through the lasers on the east side.
4. Once you're back in the Grand Hall, head south as you had tried before. You'll notice a perfectly fine bridge sitting here that you can cross. Do so and enter the door ahead.
5. You will encounter more lasers. Hit the Cronus and proceed carefully but quickly enough so that your time doesn't run out. You basically have lots of jumps to do, so just keep running and jump at the right time. There's a Secret Mission (#6).
6. In the fan room, clearly don't get hit by the fan. Just drop down and Mephistos and a Fausto will attack. Once they're dead, examine the red pedestal to slow time. This will allow you to hop up the fan blades as fast as you can and get to the platform with the door. It may take you a few tries. Just jump to the platform with the closed doors, not the one that looks open.
7. Continue forward, and eventually four Bianco Angelos will attack you. Deal with them or just move up to the purple pedestal. Once you move up and head through a door, two Alto Angelos will attack. This will be rough, but doable. You can find some candlesticks by the walls which will fully heal you. There's also a Secret Mission on your left across from the Divinity Statue, but it's preferable to complete that as Dante. Use the Divinity Statue and get ready for a fight.
Boss #8: Dante
1. Dante has so many attacks it's difficult to describe them all. Here are a few tricks to beating him.
2. Trick #1: Shoot him over and over (he'll cancel all your shots out with his guns) until you get really close, then slash him and Buster him. Your Buster, unless in Devil Trigger, will only lead to a twitch battle which will push one of you back (press triangle as quick as you can). Clearly, use Devil Trigger whenever you think you've got his number on this trick. Sometimes, this will not work, as Dante will decide to use Streak on you, rather than deal with shooting your bullets. You win some, you lose some.
3. Trick #2: Get on that platform in the middle of the room and Buster Dante before he lands on it. I had a lot of trouble getting this to work, but it's theoretically safer. Your choice.
4. Trick #3: Never finish a slashing combo, but rather keep using your Buster before you finish it out. This will allow you to sometimes keep hitting him for a long time, as you slash, slash, then Buster, win the faceoff and then start over.
5. Dante's tough, and no amount of walkthrough guidance will really give you all you need to beat him, so you may need to go backwards to old missions for red orbs so you can afford blue and gold orbs to get rid of him. Don't abandon all hope, as the game suggests when you die.
Mission 11: The Ninth Circle
1. First of all, get the combat adjudicator on this level before hitting the blue pedestal. It's a tough one, because you have to get all the way to SSS, but keep plugging away with varied attacks. Now, hit that blue pedestal on this level around the circle. Grim Grips will appear.
2. Once you're past them and you move a bit in, you'll be sealed into a small area with two Mephistos. After one of them is dead, their Fausto will come up as well. Kill them, though the small room will make it tougher than usual. When this is accomplished, grab the large green orb ahead in front of the gazebo. Examine the red pedestal to get a lift up.
3. Once you've gotten up, you'll hear battle. This is because scarecrows are on the other side of a gate with buttons on both sides. Notice the sign that reads "Proceeding alone is strictly prohibited." You have to stand on one switch and Snatch the scarecrow to get him on the other one so the gate will open.
4. Kill the scarecrows, then head up the long staircase. At the top is a Divinity Statue and a lift that you can't activate yet. Break the gate and stand in the inactive lift to receive lots of orbs.
5. If you move to the right towards a gap, you can see Grim Grips with large red orbs over them. Don't worry about falling, there's only a gap you have to wall-kick out of. If you need the red orbs, wall kick-off of the wall behind the Grips, then swing onto them to catch the orbs. Here, however, you just need to get up where you were to begin with. Once up, swing on both Grips quickly, then either wall-kick or Air Hike over the high wall to the right. You'll meet a very similar situation in just a second with another set of Grim Grips.
6. A single Alto Angelo will confront you as you get over the second high wall. He'll be next to the blue pedestal. You must hit the pedestal for more Grim Grips. Use them quickly, because they'll disappear. Once you're up, examine the red pedestal for another fight: three Bianco Angelos and an Alto, once you've killed a Bianco. There's a small Green Orb in the corner if you need it. After they're dead, the lift will finally activate and you can hop back down to it.
7. Once you've backtracked to the lift and Divinity Statue, you'll be set upon by Altos, scarecrows and Biancos over time. You may want to just head on through the lift and get on with the boss fight. Use the Statue if you need to first.
Boss #9: Sanctus
1. Sanctus is difficult because he will attempt to stay away from you at all times. You have to destroy two layers of his bubble shield before you can hurt him regularly. When he gets down to 1/5 of his life, the fight gets a lot tougher with the Savior thrown in the mix.
2. His basic attacks are various sorts of lasers and fireballs. For both, one version is in the air and one is on the ground. You can typically dodge them by just being in the opposite place. There is also one top-down laser attack he'll use that forces you to just back away. His attacks can always be stopped if you take away a shield layer while he's charging them.
3. The general problem is that Sanctus is constantly pulling away from you, and you have to Snatch-swing on the little droid-looking things that he keeps in front of him. Afterwards, you'll need to Snatch in order to get close enough to slash and break his shield. For the first layer, this isn't difficult, but for the second layer he'll pull back a lot. This forces you to either corner him or more likely hit him while he's trying to attack you. Once the second layer has been broken, he'll fall and allow you to slash and Buster him on the ground. Make sure you Buster him in time. The slashes aren't nearly as important. Use Devil Trigger for extra damage, as always.
4. Once the Savior appears, you have less time to break Sanctus' shield before he'll hover up and try to smash you with the Savior's fist. You can dodge this by running in one direction and perhaps side-rolling or jumping, but the main issue is the shortened time.
5. The second layer can be annoying, especially with the Savior. Try to stay back for a moment and let Sanctus charge an attack, especially if he's taken himself into a corner. Hopefully, the attack will be the fire along the ground or something similarly harmless. If so, you'll have time to slash him while he's trying to hurt you and is vulnerable. That's usually your best bet for destroying the second layer. This boss fight concludes chapter 11.
Mission 12: A New Beginning
1. You're now Dante, so you inherit all the orbs and proud souls that Nero ever earned. This allows you to cash in all of the orbs and souls before the mission. You can always refund them, so don't worry too much. Try to upgrade Sword Master style and get your Air Hike back, along with Stinger and Stinger 2. You'll figure out what it is you like.
2. So, now you begin the long backtrack through everywhere you went as Nero, this time playing as Dante.
3. NOTE: You'll notice that Dante's guns are much, much more potent.
4. The room where you begin gives you loads of scarecrows to try out your new combat system on.
5. Try out the Secret Mission on your right now if you want, but you won't be quite ready for it yet. It's still advisable to wait until you get another ability as Dante. Once you move forward, you'll face the Mega Scarecrows with blades all over them. You'll still be toying with your new fighting, so this may appear tough, but use Stinger to your advantage (R1 + up + triangle) and keep hitting them so they can't throw their blades at you. Also, get away after they're dead, or a blade will fall on you.
6. Keep moving north, and then you'll come to the wonderful realization that the building is about to collapse. You will have ten minutes to get back through the grand hall and out of the building. Don't worry, because I got out while searching for orbs and I had four minutes left. Drop down this long gap and search around for a gold orb among some fallen rocks. Then hit the blue pedestal and go into the elevator to fight some Frosts. I found them much easier than they had been with Dante, but kill them quickly due to the time limit.
7. Once they're dead, you'll go up the elevator, then face some Mephistos (shoot them with the shotgun to get their cloaks off). Afterwards, activate the pedestal there to get the Key of Cronus which will make the fan blades break down. This will let you step on up to the door on the north side. Continue forwards and encounter a slightly harder version of the horizontal lasers. Your Cronus won't run out, so don't worry if you get hit a couple of times.
8. Once you're past there and back to this Grand Hall, Alto and Bianco Angelos will attack you. Hack through them, or go around their backs if you like. Use Devil Trigger if you're low on health, which you may very likely be at this point. Hurry if you need to. Once they're dead you can simply walk out the door. You have beaten the timer. You should have lots of time left as long as the enemies didn't take you too long to conquer.
9. If you want an extra blue orb fragment, you have to head east from the Grand Hall and fight some Gladii. Or, just sneak by them by using the Cronus device in the Key Chamber. A Dante combat adjudicator is in the room just beyond, so hit it until you get to Brutal Stylish and you'll get it.
10. No matter how long you had left, immediately after you leave a cutscene will play showing the building collapse behind you. Head northward for a long way to end the mission.
Mission 13: The Devil Returns
1. It's sort of easy to get lost here back in Echidna's forest, so I'll be using area names more often than usual. You start off in the Ancient Training Ground. Head east into a purple portal. This will take you somewhere completely unconnected in the map, the Forgotten Ruins. Once you're there, turn left onto the very small balcony and jump off. Chimeras with scarecrows will attack you. When they're down, make your way through the portal just up from here.
2. Now you're in the Windswept Valley. Jump down and meet these new Chimera Assaults. They attack and jump around a lot, so keep focusing on one and get away from there when they're in the air. Slice at them, and use Stinger continually once you've gotten one down. This will let you hit it repeatedly until it dies. Go up the eastern stairs to the portal leading to the Ancient Plaza.
3. You will have regular old normal Assaults coming from behind in the open area. Head back there and deal with them. As Dante I like to use his charged Sword Master circle attack (back + hold O) to kill them. You can just wait for them to charge, then slash them all upwards at once. Head to the NE non-portal exit to the Lapis River.
4. Head south of the bridge. Fighting the Mephistos if you want to, then go through the portal below the bridge to get to the Windswept valley again. From there, go into the Ruined Church after hitting the pods in this area.
5. You'll start to really hear Echidna laughing now. Hit the pods and the combat adjudicator next to you in this room. Make sure you're in Sword Master style for the adjudicator. It's the most useful for Stylish. Go under the stairs and outside.
6. Chimera Assaults will attack you. Go through the maze as you did with Nero, heading the opposite direction from where the shadow points to.
7. There's a Divinity Statue here. Use it, and it's time to fight Echidna again.
Boss #10: Echidna
1. You may as well read the guide from last time you faced Echidna. She hasn't changed. There are no more Busters, but you can now use Dante's Sword Master O attack to great force here. Use Devil Trigger plenty to max out damage per hit. That's about it. Refer above for descriptions of her attacks. I found this fight to be the easiest yet. Again, keep using Dante's air attack with O in Sword Master, and she'll lose health surprisingly quickly.
2. Go southwest after the fight is over, and enjoy your new weapon, Gilgamesh. Press R2 to switch weapons.
Mission 14: Forest of Ruin
1. Get Kick 13 for Gilgamesh if you can afford it. The path to Fortuna Castle is somehow opened again.
2. A quick scene will introduce you to yet another new lesser enemy, the Faults. They're not the same as the others, however, as they only come up from the ground every now and then. They will try to snag you and force you down to an area where you must fight other sorts of enemies before you can get back up. This will force you to stay on your toes for this mission all the time. You can kill them after they miss you. Quickly hit them so they won't mess with you again.
3. TIP: They take three slashes with Rebellion or two hits with Gilgamesh.
4. You'll move on just a bit and get trapped in an area with Scarecrows, Chimera Seeds and Faults. You don't have to kill the Faults to unseal the area, but you'll definitely have to watch out for them in the middle of your combos against other creatures. Keep moving west.
5. Now you'll deal with Mephistos, Fausts and Faults. As before, watch out for the Faults. Shoot the Mephistos/Fausts to get their cloaks off so you can really hurt them.
6. TIP: Jump to get in quick shots with Coyote A. You shoot faster when in the air for whatever reason. Head down the northwest path.
7. Here you have Assaults and Faults. As Dante, you can actually deal with Assaults all at once rather than one at a time. Use your great Sword Master attacks and Stinger. Head out the southwest exit.
8. In the Windswept Valley, you will yet again be trapped and face Chimeracrows, Chimerassaults and Faults. Here it's very helpful to realize that Faults only control a certain area of the map they're in. Any particular section is safe after you've destroyed the Fault that exists there. Therefore, take out the Faults from two adjacent areas in this small sealed area. This will give you a safe spot to fight the Chimeras. Do not risk being trapped by Faults, or you will have to start this fight over. Once all the Chimeras are dead, head west, up the cliffs and then west again.
9. Secret Mission 08 is to your right in the gazebo, where you get to the red crystal. You had to skip this one before, because Nero couldn't do it, but Dante can. I'd suggest that you try it later when you've got time and more experience with Royal Guard style. Head through the log adjacent to the gazebo again for orbs, then exit west.
10. Welcome back to Fortuna Castle. This completes mission 14.
Mission 15: Fortuna Castle
1. Head up the left stairs and hit the combat adjudicator there until you're all the way to SS level. This will grant you a blue orb fragment. When ready, head on through the door up from there.
2. Rather than the Frosts from both previous trips through this area, you will now meet Blitzes, a really rough new enemy. The hardest by a long shot in my opinion. Slicing him won't work at all while he's got all the electricity flowing around him. You have to shoot him (use Ebony & Ivory) and dodge his crazy electric beam and lunge attacks until his shield is down. After this is accomplished, you can finally get to slicing. Once you've sliced him a good bit, he'll get a new, red shield and start acting even more aggressively. He may attempt to lunge, grab you and then blow himself up for major damage. Use Devil Trigger if you get caught to avoid such a big explosion. Do your best, and continue on.
3. Enter the Grand Hall, head to the right to the first door on this level and go into the Gallery. Scour the area for orbs. Go out to the Library area, then jump up two levels on the third pillar down for some secret red orbs. Go inside, and fight a lot of Angelos.
4. Continue onward. You will see the ruins of a spiral staircase below. Move to the other side for the red crystal before jumping down. After you jump, Secret Mission 09 (really hard) is on the back of the bottom of the old stairs.
5. Once you've gone through that door, you'll end up in the Large Hall, though ice has sealed off every direction but the one into the Dining Room. Go there after breaking the candlesticks and chairs.
6. Go north, then turn into the actual dining room section to face a lot of Scarecrows and three Mega Scarecrows. As long as you keep hitting the Mega Scarecrows, they're pretty weak and the other enemies aren't really aggressive enough to get in your way. As before, though, watch out after you kill a mega scarecrow. Their blade may land on you. This fight should actually gain you health, from green orbs around the room.
7. Head counterclockwise in the Large Hall, getting the large green orb from in front of the ice and breaking the candlesticks. Go in the first available door moving counterclockwise. Rip the Frosts apart inside the Torture Chamber. Both Rebellion and Gilgamesh are really effective if you keep the Frosts on one side of you.
8. Fall down the huge hole here from before, get the green orb near you in a cage if you want, then hit the blue pedestal. After you've hit it, a blue platform will activate, allowing you to jump all the way up to the second floor of the torture chamber.
9. Head across the spiky ceiling you lowered earlier and go in the door to the Master's Chambers. While fighting the Scarecrows in here the Blitz suddenly attack. Go ahead and take care of the Scarecrows first. Try not to hit too many things in the room that may award health in the near future. Once you're in combat, do as before and keep shooting. Use Gunslinger style and hit Blitz with your O attack if he ever fails to hit you with his electrical beam. Slice him directly afterward, then avoid his suicide attack and he'll eventually destroy himself. Stick it out, hit everything in the room and use Devil Trigger. #TIP: The Blitz will apparently attack any remaining scarecrows through confusion, so you may not want to kill them first after all.
10. Outside in the Soldier's Graveyard you will find lots of breakable objects with powerups inside. Restock yourself and get ready for the upcoming boss fight with the Divinity Statue. The door to the boss is in the NE corner.

Boss #11: Dagon
1. Don't be confused, this is really the same as Bael. It's just one of his "brothers" he had mentioned before. He has the same attacks as before. In this case, the differences mean that you can't Buster his Rusalkas to pull him out. Instead, wait for him to jump out on his own. You can also now activate Devil Trigger to burst out of his mouth if he swallows you.
2. As it was with Echidna, you basically have to just slash like crazy to kill them, instead of using Busters as you did with Nero. Your reward for the fight is the Pandora, which you'll see used to incredible effect in the cutscene after the fight.
3. Drop down in the big pit after the fight. This concludes chapter 15.
Mission 16: Inferno
1. Be sure to check out the new Pandora upgrades available to you. As you can probably guess, this mission will end with Berial's demise.
2. You will be dropped down into a room with a poisonous gas that slowly drains your life. Despite this, there's a combat adjudicator in the room that only requires that you hit it for S level Stylish to receive a blue orb fragment. The green orbs around it will help you stay a while. Do that as quickly as possible then move on out to the east.
3. Cutlasses attack you here, and you can't Buster them out anymore. Therefore, the best you can do is shoot them until they're slow enough for you to slash. I would suggest shooting them with Ebony & Ivory, then using Stinger to quickly slash them, then make sure you hit them enough times to pull them up. After that, just keep hitting them so they don't go back down. I actually had less trouble here than I did with Nero, plus there are green orbs in the room to help you out.
4. The Speed ability most certainly helps in getting all the way down that hallway. You now move into the game room. Simply cut open the die. You don't have to deal with it as you did before. Instead, lots of Gladii will attack you. I'd suggest trying out your new Pandora on them, particularly where they clump together in the air or whenever they start spinning like they're going to launch at you.
5. Move on out the red door into Agnus' old containment room, where Gladii and Angelos will attack you. Use your Pandora a lot again, and Devil Trigger if low on health. Jump up once they're done. Stand where Yamato was for secret orbs, then finally head out to escape that poisonous gas.
6. Head up the stairs to the left at Foris Falls, breaking the barrels along the way. Go on ahead into the door. Angelos will attack you inside, so hit them from behind and feel free to blast them with Pandora. After you move on in the Angel Creation room, you'll fight two Altos with several more Biancos.
7. After you head south out of that room, you'll be told there's no more poisonous gas. Then you have to jump on the red platforms as you did with Nero here. Do so, then go down the long hallway.
8. In the Grand Hall, head up the stairs and out the painting. You'll be notified that the ice is gone. You can then get to a secret red orb stash just left of where you are (NW corner of the second floor) where the red orbs go up the wall. Do a kick jump followed by an Air Hike with Devil Trigger to get up to the secret red orbs on top of that wall. Now, go on down, break everything and then head out the front gate. Use the Divinity Statue if you need to, as you're getting close to the boss.
9. Just as Nero met the Frosts out here, Dante will meet the Basilisks. They resemble fiery dogs. Keep on the offensive and use Stinger a lot. They're not especially tough, but there are a lot of them and you don't want to get surrounded. Hit the smaller pillars around here for green orbs if you need to, then jump on the corner pillars as you did with Nero here for secret red orbs. The map will show a pathway out over the mountainside. More Basilisks will attack you once you get up to the right level. Keep moving along the mountainside south. Continue breaking the small pillars along the way for power-ups.
10. In the Second Mining area, just fall down the pit when you get to it. Break through the fence and the red crystal on that small western path. Finally, head south towards a boss battle with Berial.
Boss #12: Berial
1. Again, Berial uses the same attacks. You also no longer have Buster attacks. Just slash him a lot and his health goes down fairly quickly.
2. There aren't any buildings for health this time, so Devil Trigger is your only hope for healing during the fight. Also, get away when Berial is getting out of being slumped over, or else you'll fall victim to his powerful area attack.
3. You can also use the Disaster gauge you've been charging by using the Gunslinger O attack with Pandora out. There's no reason not to try that out here. Grab the red orbs once the cutscene ends, then head out south.
Mission 17: Adagio For Strings
1. When you Power Up, look if you want an upgrade for your new weapon, Lucifer.
2. There's a combat adjudicator in the next room here, but it's for Nero. Jump down and move on east. Head out the door and break the dumpsters around here.
3. Move on to the open wooden area where you faced Scarecrows near the beginning of the game. Some Scarecrows will spawn to fight you, followed by Bianco Angelos, followed by an Alto Angelo. You can try out Lucifer here if you like, or take care of them simply. You'll have to head east and through the door.
4. Move on, break the dumpster and jump up in the watchtower for secret orbs. Once you move through the archway, an Assault will spawn directly behind you, with more Assaults and Mephistos on the way. Take care of the Assaults first with persistent sword attacks, then use Pandora to de-cloak the Mephistos. This can be done in two shots, you can slice them sufficiently. Break the red crystal and pots and barrels around here for orbs, then move on ahead.
5. When you get out in the street a little bit, many Scarecrows, a couple of Mega Scarecrows and some Basilisks will attack you. You can basically leave the Mega Scarecrows alone, as they're surprisingly unaggressive. Take your space and kill the Scarecrows and Basilisks first. All of these sorts of enemies require the same strategy: Keep attacking them so they can't attack you.
6. After that fight, look at the east/southeast part of the map. Notice the restaurant with an awning and a red orb on top of it. Jump on that awning and you'll see a blue orb fragment up above. Unfortunately, the jump requires just barely more than a wall kick or Air Hike alone to jump up there, so you must activate Devil Trigger to use both. Grab it and move south. All the garbage cans and benches yield orbs when destroyed.
7. In the Opera House Plaza, there's a Secret Mission (#12) on your right, behind a garbage can. It's in front of the gate, so check that out before you continue through the arch and encounter another small fight. This one is against a team of two Mephistos, then two Alto Angelos, then a Faust. You know how to beat all of these enemies from before, and Pandora just makes it easier. Go up to the Opera House and walk around it. You'll find a Divinity Statue. Get ready for the next boss.
Boss #13: Agnus
1. Congratulations on fully backtracking as Dante. This time you'll be fighting a bug-form of Agnus, who returns with only one new attack: summoning Basilisks.
2. Keep Sword Master and use your air O attack to hit him for lots of damage while he's in the air. In general, save your Devil Trigger for situations where he grabs you and attempts to suck your life. Make sure you hit him when he says "Time to die!" and charges a black cloud around himself. If you hit him as he says this, he can't use that attack. Otherwise, keep slicing, use Pandora and heal with Devil Trigger.
3. Collect the red orbs afterwards and then move onto the blue glowing platform to end the mission.
Mission 18: The Destroyer
1. The last Hell Gate is destroyed, so this mission is all about the Savior. Use your last Power Up as Dante wisely. Your enemy is the Savior for this entire mission. Don't worry, it'll probably take longer than a regular mission would, despite the fact that it's sort of one huge boss battle.
2. You must destroy the blue crystals on the Savior's head, shoulders, arms, ankles and back to earn your way into the second phase. It is very important that you make sure you fully destroy all these crystals, because they will burst not once but twice before they count as destroyed. The game has given you a new power through Yamato with the Devil Slayer style, but I would suggest switching back to Sword Master. Yamato's special attack (back + O), while able to fully destroy the crystals in one hit, takes a long time to charge and you'll probably just get hit. I'd prefer slashing the crystals enough to fully destroy them.
3. Savior's Attack Patterns:
1. Elbows you.
2. Slaps the floating platform you're on.
3. Crushes the platform you're on, which causes you to fall.
4. Kicks your platform, which causes you to fall.
5. Crouches, then side-kicks the low area above your platform.
6. Shoots orbs at you, or charges his ultimate beam attack, which will destroy about one fourth of your health immediately.
4. The best way to dodge every one of these attacks is to simply move on to a blue platform and move to the next place. Several others can be simply side-rolled or jumped over. Make absolutely sure you move to another platform when he charges the last of those attacks I mentioned, and then go ahead and move one more platform over just to be safe.
5. There are two different ways to destroy the arm, shoulder and head crystals. For the first technique, hit the blue pedestals for the laser cannons at two separate points along the platforms to trap an arm. You can then jump along it and slash the crystals. For the second technique, wait until the Savior slaps your floating platform so you can jump on, after you dodge the slap. While you're up on either of the arms, be sure to shoot the head crystal, which will set off a cutscene.
6. In order to reach the ankle and back crystals, you have to reach one of the cannons on the extreme ends of the series of platforms. They're sort of hard to reach, as the Savior will destroy platforms inevitably, but you have to reach one and hit the blue pedestal next to it to cripple the Savior. Open up a straight line of jumps to each of the ankle and back crystals , and shoot or slash them. If you've fully destroyed each crystal, you'll be brought back up to be subjected to the Savior's ultimate attack.
Boss #14: The Savior
1. Now you get a life bar, and are able to auto aim on the Savior's chest crystal. The Savior's attacks are the same, but you have to keep shooting at his chest crystal with Ebony & Ivory and jumping platforms to dodge attacks. Once you've gotten enough shots in, the Savior will collapse much as he did when you used the cannons, and you'll be brought right in front of the jump you need to hit so that you can slash his chest crystal over and over. You have to do that twice before the Savior will finally die.
2. It's generally advisable to get next to the blue platform you're going to use before you start shooting the Savior. This way you can just side step onto it whenever he's about to attack.
3. Sometimes, you will be caught with no jumps left, due to the Savior destroying your platforms. The Savior will immediately use this opportunity to use his super death beam and really hurt you. This will at least refresh all the old platforms and you can jump anywhere for a little while again. Just try not to get hit in the earlier section of the fight, or keep some Vital Stars or a Golden orb with you.
Mission 19: The Successor
1. When the mission begins, you will be in a new version of the game room. You have to land on the purple spot in order to face a boss from earlier in the game. After he's down, you will proceed to the next level.
2. You basically fight all of the bosses again. Thankfully, you should know how the dice works from earlier. Whatever is face up on the die when you Buster it is what you'll get, so you can adjust it to land only on blue and purple. This will heal you. Then fight the bosses, with no interruptions.
3. For the first level, just roll a four to fight lots of Bianco Angelos with an Alto. If you've got the timing right, just wait for them to send the energy ball at you. You can Buster it and instant-kill all of them. If you don't, just use Devil Trigger and slice away while attempting to get used to fighting as Nero again. Once you've killed them all, you'll be on a larger board with green and white orbs at the two corners. Land on the purple to face Berial again.
4. To defeat Berial, look at the hints provided for when you first faced him, except now there are no houses to give you green orbs. Also, you have Devil Trigger to heal yourself and hurt him more. That's basically it, you should do fine if you healed before the battle.
5. Once you're on the next board, roll a three to heal, then roll a two if you're still not at full health. Roll whatever is remaining to reach the purple and you will face Dagon.
6. Dagon is the same as before and the same as Bael. Now you have Devil Trigger to hurt him more and escape if he swallows you. Your Buster attacks allow you to pull him out from a collapsed Rusalka. You weren't able to do this as Dante.
7. I wasn't really injured at all from that fight and the small green orb in the corner was plenty enough to heal me, but you can reach the yellow in one roll to get to purple. Next up is Echidna.
8. This is exactly the same as last time you faced Echidna, so you can really just follow my tips for that last fight against her as Nero.
9. Roll a five or six to get two yellows. This will will take you straight to purple. Otherwise you can aim for blue spaces for health before you get to them. Whatever you need, take your time. Bug-form Agnus is up next.
10. Agnus is the same as when you just faced him with Dante, which means that he is only different from his Nero form because he can summon Basilisks. He does seem to try to suck your life more than last time, so just keep hitting him so he can't use that attack (that's when he sort of glows golden, says something, and raises his arm up. You can still Devil Trigger yourself out of it, though).
11. Once he's dead again, you just have to go up the stairs and on through the glowing rock door. This completes mission 19.

Mission 20: La Vita Nuova
You may as well buy Vital Stars and golden orbs with your remaining red orbs, because this is it. It's just the final boss fight, and prices for blue and purple orbs will likely be sky-high by now.
Boss #15: Sanctus Diabolica
1. This is sort of the same as the previous boss fight against Sanctus with his attacks and two layered shield. You still have to use Snatch to jump up and hit his shield. He will then collapse to the ground and allow you to slash him, and then Buster him.
2. The Sword of Sparda he holds gives him a few new attacks. Whenever he suddenly disappears, he'll reappear somewhere and try to slash you with the Sword. For the first four fifths of his life bar, this is just some small area attack you can avoid by stepping away for a minute. In the last fifth of his life, he'll warp to the center of the room and charge up an attack with the Sword to charge you, then begin a really painful combo of slashes with it if you get hit. If he does this, a perfectly timed Buster will automatically Buster him. This will nearly kill him, especially if Devil Trigger is on.
3. He'll also now block your attacks in the air with his sword, which you can quite simply Buster away. This will cause him to sort of stumble in the air and will give you a great chance at destroying his second shield layer.
4. Your general attacks are the same as last time you fought him. Destroy both shield layers quickly enough so he can't refresh the shield, then slash him a few times while he's on the floor before Bustering him (preferably with Devil Trigger). In the last fifth of his life, this will get harder, because you have to dodge his super Sword of Sparda attack, unless you're able to time your Buster correctly to kill him. You should be used to this sort of fight from the last time you faced him.
5. After you've finally killed Sanctus, you'll get a long cutscene followed by a quick fight against the Savior. Don't worry, it's not like a real boss fight. Just dodge his fist as he slams down at you, Buster it, then time your Buster right against his slapping left hand. Finally, Buster his head as it falls down towards you. If you mess any of those steps up, he'll just start the series over. You shouldn't have to actually worry about it, the attacks don't hurt too much even if they hurt you.
6. Technically that's the end of the game. However, the first ending scene is followed by a minigame during the credits, forcing you to protect Kyrie from Scarecrows for a minute and a half. Use Streak, Buster, and your gun to keep them away. Successfully defend Kyrie and you'll get a special extra ending scene. #Congratulations, the game is finished, and you've unlocked the next difficulty level (unless you were playing on Human).

Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 1
1. Pointed out by the tutorial on a lamp thing in Mission 02.
2. You simply have to eliminate all the scarecrows in a time limit. Using nothing but your Buster here will get them killed quickly and efficiently enough. You should have plenty of time remaining.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 2
1. Found in the Dining Room area in Mission 04, where the fire cannon was before your Gyro Blade destroyed it.
2. In it, you must execute a mid-air Buster 5 times before touching the ground. You are given a continual enemy of four scarecrows at a time until you've killed too many and must fail. Just jump up, Snatch an enemy up to you, Buster them quickly (mash the O button) and then pick up another one and repeat. If you are falling down, you're either not mashing that button quickly enough, or you're running out of scarecrows, or possibly not selecting a new one quickly enough. Keep going at it.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 3
1. In the Soldier's Graveyard under the stairs you take up to the Master's Chamber.
2. After you've beaten Mission 08, you earn the Aegis Shield, which allows you to Snatch enemies and hold them to you. Protect yourself from enemy attacks and spice in some taunts (select button) to raise your Stylish. Don't get hit, or you'll lose a lot, possibly having to start over.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 4
1. Behind weird yellow things in Mission 06 in the Angel Creation room. There are secret red orb stashes in several spots that will switch as you replay the mission. Expect places like behind the mirror upstairs, at the blue pedestal, where the Gyro Blade is and places like that. You just have to get lucky and find them all on one try, so just keep trying.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 5
1. Behind a tree on the left path from the bridge over the Lapis River.
2. Use a combination of winged talisman platforms and Grim Grips to reach the top. This is going to take several tries just to figure out how to do it, trial and error. There's one particularly tricky bit where the third platform requires you to move under a floating cage to get to the fourth, but you can't be where the fourth platform will block you. You'll have to play it to see exactly what I mean. Once you're to the caged platform, jump up in place to find a metal ledge at the wall and get on it. Go all the way to one side where the Grim Grip is between you and the platform, then use it, and you'll be able to see your goal.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 6
1. Behind a pillar in the room with the horizontal lasers in Mission 10.
2. Tough, but there's a trick to it. You have to defend a scarecrow from being overcome by the countless Chimera Seeds surrounding him, and you'll need both Air Hike and the Aegis Shield. Just grab (hold O) the scarecrow right at the start, then continuously jump with Air Hike down to the path that points straight south on the map, with the Gyro Blade. Get up on the ledge with the scarecrow, and then you're safe, until he walks back off of it.
3. Therefore, you need to take him as far as you can down that path, then come back and Buster all the Chimera Seeds. There will likely be some Seeds still left where they spawned, so head back and DO NOT attack the scarecrow any more, because you'll fail if he dies.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 7
1. In the Meeting Room you first go through in Mission 10 as Nero. You reenter the room as Dante in Mission 12. It is across from the Divinity Statue at the end of that room.
2. As you did as Nero before during the regular game, you have to activate platforms and go across them to the blue orb fragment without being knocked off by a limitless supply of Mephistos that will hound you. As Nero, you simply have to dodge their attacks and try to Snatch their cloaks off to get them off you for a moment. As Dante, you can shoot the Mephistos for an easier time, or return after you've earned Pandora and use your Gunslinger circle attack with it out to use Disaster Gauge and get across the chasm.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 8
1. In the gazebo at the Forest Entrance between the large log with seeds in it and the red crystal.
2. You must use your Royal Guard style (you can only do this secret mission as Dante) to successfully block five times in a row and never be hurt. You're facing Mephistos, and you just have to learn their attack patterns and know exactly when to block so that you don't get hurt. Take care of one of them to make things easier.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 9
1. Under the stairs in the Library area in Mission 15.
2. Defeat 3 Chimera Seeds, 3 Assaults, and then 3 Chimera Assaults without being harmed at any point. Probably the hardest secret mission, unfortunately. There aren't really any tricks to it, but just use Stinger (R1 + triangle and up) to keep the enemies at bay, and don't let the seeds reach the Assaults. Once the Chimera Assaults come up, you'll have a much more difficult time due to their blade attacks that can come at you at any point. You'll just have to be careful if you go the melee route. You can also attempt an all out Pandora assault, but this will take a while even with special Pandora attacks.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 10
1. You should get to this one in Mission 05, behind a mirror in the "Master's Chamber". You must take your Gyro Blade and bust five blue statues in the Large Hall.
2. They are located: 1. Right in front of you. 2. Near the four circles. 3. In the caged area on the southeast side. 4 and 5. In the hallways leading just past the caged area, moving west and south. Just keep your Blade charged with two hits or a Streak hit, and don't let it get stuck anywhere.
3. It may take a few tries, but correct manipulation will get it complete in the 2 minute time limit. You'll be rewarded with a blue orb fragment and another fight with those Bianco Angelos.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 11
1. Fortuna Castle Gate, very difficult to get to. After the introductory fight with the Basilisks as Dante, you climb up the mountain then head up the set of stairs going to the left. Face right from it and jump, Air Hike, then either use Lucifer's air triangle attack twice or use Pandora's special circle attack to glide over to it.
2. There are two pillars you must destroy with Pandora with its Revenge attack. Use Stinger to speed over to get level with one pillar, use Revenge, then run over to get level with the other one in time to use Revenge on it. You're on a time limit, so this may take a few tries.
Devil May Cry 4 Walkthrough - Secret Mission 12
1. Found behind a garbage can in the Opera House Plaza when you first get there in Mission 17 as Dante.
2. You're presented with the laser hallway Nero had to face, but with no ability to slow time. You can try it the (very) hard way by trying to jump through.
3. Just make sure you've got a well-filled disaster gauge from using Pandora, then equip it with Gunslinger and press circle. With it, you can glide through the lasers, all the way if you have enough disaster gauge.

Pokemon Dungeon Walktrough

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4 Walkthrough
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The part that probably most of you came to use, now as you see there's some
different from R/S, as we can see both Groudon and Kyogre at the beginning,
anyways, Prof. Birch will appear talking about Pokemon and that he studies
them and there's many mysteries, it's the same as R/S so no need to explain
more, next he will ask you if your a boy or girl, the top answer is boy and
the bottom answer is a girl. (Note, whenever someone asks you a question, Yes
will always be at the top, while No is at the bottom.) Next he will ask you
your name, if you want your name in English, just go to the right, and you
will see Select, press it twice and the english letters will appear.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.1 The Beginning
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, you'll see yourself inside the moving van, soon it will stop and
you can get out of it, your Mom will come out and say that the neighborhood
is nice and the house is too, soon you'll go inside and see the pokemon worker
-s placing the objects, go up your room and fix your clock to the time you
want, after that go downstairs and your mother is calling you to see your
father's interview on TV, but it turns out that you were too late. Go outside
to the house near you, when you enter a lady will come and introduces herself,
she's your rivals mother, she will tell you to go upstairs and meet her, I
guess, when you enter you will find a item in the room, try to take it and you
-r rival will appear, I don't exactly know what's she is saying, but I guess
she is mainly introducing herself. Leave the house and go north, you will find
out the Prof. Birch is being chased by a Zigzagoon, not a Poochyena like in
R/S, anyways he will tell you to go to the bag and choose a pokemon, now be
careful as this will be your starter pokemon, you have three choices :

1. Trecko, the grass pokemon, it's the best for the beginner users, easy to
train, but it wont be as powerful as the rest at the end. Its ability is
Overgrow, and it's the first one to the left.

2. Mudkip, the water pokemon, is probably the best pokemon, not too hard to
train, and turns into a great pokemon. It's the last one to the left, and its
ability is Torrent.

3. Torchic, the fire pokemon, is hard to train at the beginning but it turns
out to be a strong pokemon at the end, it's the one in the middle and its
ability is Blaze.

After you have chosen, you will begin the battle with Zigzagoon, its
pretty easy, he's at level 2, basically concentrate on the basic move, which
is usually tackle, scratch etc, sooner or later you should have fainted him,
Prof Birch will then thank you, and take you back to his lab. He will thank
you and give you the pokemon you have chosen and tells you to meet his
daughter/son. Leave the lab and go north to Route 101 battle a few wild
pokemon till you reach level 6, then go to the next town. Oldale town really
has nothing for now, heal your pokemon and continue north, as a freak is
blocking the path. Try to avoid battling wild pokemon, as at the end of the
route you will see your rival. She will be suprised to see you (What does
she/he think we are, losers? =p) and she/he will battle you. Teach her a
lesson by beating her, your pokemon should be at level 6, she/he will have
the pokemon that's weak to yours, like Water = Grass, Grass = Fire, Fire =
Water. Fortunately s/he's pokemon didn't learn the elemental move yet, like
Water Gun etc, and at level 6 so just stay with Tackle or Scratch till s/he's
pokemon faints. You will gain a level, and s/he will tell you to come back to
home, follow her to Oldale town and heal, continue back and you will end up
in the lab. S/he will tell her/his father that you beated her/him, he will be
suprised and will end up giving you the Pokedex and tells you to go to Rustbor
-o to battle the gym there. Leave the lab, and you will see your mother at the
door, talk to her and she will give the running shoes, press B and it will make
you run, a WHOLE lot better than walking, now go back to route 101, battle and
gain a level, and heal at Oldale and go by the route that the freak was
blocking.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.2 Petalburg Town And Forest
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now you have entered Route 102 that leads to Petalburg Town, go up a few
steps and you will meet the first trainer you will battle in the game, he has
a level 5 Poochyena, should be easy as you should have your pokemon at level
8. As usual, keep using the Tackle move and you should easily beat him. Up a
few steps and you'll meet a bug catcher, he will have two level 4 Wurmples,
should be easy, and use the same strategy as the other battle. The third
trainer is another beginner, just like you, he will have a level 4 Zigzagoon
and level 3 Tailow, another easy battle, you should have your starter at
around level 9 by now. Continue and get the two berries if you want, continue
and you will battle another trainer, which will have a level 4 Zigzagoon and
a level 4 Shroomish. A little harder from the before, but should be still
easy. Make sure that your starter is at level 10, as it will be useful if
you relay on one pokemon like me, which I will use till Rustboro Gym.

Petalburg Town... another small town but has some interesting stuff, your
father has his own gym here, so heal at the Pokemon Center and enter the gym.
He will say hi, and then some kid will enter the gym and talks to your father
asking for the pokemon he was supposed to receive, your father seems to have
forgotten and asks you to go help the kid catch a pokemon, he gives the kid
his pokemon and you and the kid leave the gym and go to the route, the kid is
called Wally, he then catches a Ralts. You will both go back to the gym and
your Dad will congratulate you on helping Wally, Wally then has to go, so he
leaves. Your Dad tells you to go to Rustboro City and battle the gym leader
there, and then come back when you're stronger. Now leave the town and you
will be stopped by someone. He's name is Enshida, there isn't much information
till now, by from what I know is that he meets you every time you leave/beat
a gym. Ill update when I know more. Now you will be on Route 104, go down to
the beach and you'll see a trainer running around, he likes to see his
footsteps in the sand I guess :P. Battle him, he has a level 5 Zigzagoon,
and a level 7 Seedot. Sweep him with your basic move or use any new elemental
moves, shouldn't be hard. Your starter should now be at level 11, and if
you have a second pokemon, should be at least level 7. Go up the beach and
you'll see a guy with a hat and a fisher, talk to the fisher to battle him,
a level 9 Magikarp. Let your weakest level pokemon battle him all he does is
the move Splash which does nothing.

Enter the house if you want, but you will find nobody for now. Take the
berries if you want, and go left and battle a rich lady. You should get a good
amount of money from her. She has a level 7 Zigzagoon.. which is really
nothing so quickly get rid of her. Now go forward to enter the Petalburg
Forest. If you need a poke ball, go left and pass the guy, and go down, and
you will see an item which is a poke ball, go back and go to your left, you
will see a bug catcher he will have 4 level 3 Wurmple.... go up and you will
see an item, it's an antidote. Continue and you will see someone looking
around, he asks you if you see a Shroomish, then a Team Aqua guy appears,
asking for the Devon Goods (Emerald has both Team Magma and Aqua) the Devon
Goods guy will hide behind you for help. The Team Aqua guy will attack you.
This might be the hardest battle yet, but you should beat him with no sweat
if your team is between levels 8-12. He will have a level 9 Poochyena. After
you beat him, he will go back a step and he then runs away, the Devon's Goods
guy will thank you, and then remember about the goods and runs to Rustboro
City.

Continue going forward and you will see a bug catcher, battle him he will
have 2 level 6 Nincandas, sweep him with your water pokemon. Go forward and
you will see an item, I think it's an Elixir. You will see a path blocked by
small trees, you need HM - Cut to cut the tree. Go up and you will be out of
the forest and on route 104. Go to the building at the top, it's a Plant store,
talk to the first girl and say yes, and then go to one in the middle and she
will give you a Wailmer Pail. It's a key item that is used to plant Berries,
go out and to the small path on the left, you will see an item which is a
Potion, take the berries if you want and go right and you will find a Rich boy
trainer (Yummy money :D) He will have a level 7 Zigzagoon, let your weakest
pokemon battle him. Be careful, he might use a Potion. You will receive 1400
Yens or money. Next you will battle a Lass with a level 6 Lotad and Shroomish.
This might be tough if your using Mudkip, but easy if your using Fire. Mainly
don't use your water pokemon, as Shroomish's Absorb will be dangerous. Continue
on the path and you will battle your first Double Battle in the game! Their
pokemon are a level 6 Lotad and Seedot. Should be easy as your team should be
around levels 9-13. Next you will see a fisherman, he will have a level 5,
level 6 and a level 7 Magikarp. Should be easy, next to the fisherman is some
berries and an old women will give you a berry. Finally you will be at
Rustboro City!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.3 Rustboro City.. The First Badge!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First thing is go to the Pokemon Center and heal. This is the biggest
city for having the first gym. Violet in G/S/C was way smaller, same thing for
Pewter City, anyways there's some stuff to do here, mainly is the gym, but also
the Devon Goods Corporation is here. Now you should have a couple of potions
and you should have a team between levels 10-15. Most important is that your
starter is around level 15, if you have a Torchic, let it evolve at level 16
so it will learn a fighting move which will help you beat Roxanne. Enter the
gym and make sure you are ready. The first trainer in the gym has a level 10
Geodude. Use your starter's elemental move like Grovyle's Absorb, and
Marshtomp's water gun and Combusken's Double Kick. If you have two pokemon
you will have your first new kind of Double Battle, when you battle against
one trainer, another trainer joins the battle, of course you need a second
pokemon. It might be somewhat hard if your second pokemon has a weakness to
Rock, overall you should beat their 4 level 8 Geodudes. Now you will face the
gym leader, she has a whole lot better pokemon than most of the pokemon you
battled, in fact the highest level pokemon you battled is level 9, so be ready.
If you have a water or grass pokemon or Combusken, this gym will be easy.
Roxanne will use two level 12 Geodudes, then a tough level 15 Nosepass. He
will probably use Rock Tomb, Defense Curl and might use a berry and a potion.
Stay with yourstarter's elemental move and you should win soon enough.
Congratulations on your first badge, and congrats to those who got their
starter evolved.

Now you think that you should leave Rustboro City? Pretty much right, but
when you get out of the gym, you will see a Team Aqua member running away, then
you will see the Devon's guy trying to catch him ( Looks like someone needs a
diet or some workout ;p) Now when they leave, go heal and then go north to
where they were running to. You will see him looking at the horizon, he will
ask you to follow him ( What does he think we are? Free Servants?) Now go to
the north path ( We will go back to the south in a minute) and battle the
trainer, he has a level 9 Machop. I don't think I need to give you advice on
beating this guy. =p Now go down then left and battle the Bug Catcher, he has
a level 8 Wurmple. Next to him is an item. Now beat the next trainer with a
level 9 Shroomish, then a double battle with level 8 Geodude, Lotad and
Shroomish. Then another hiker will have 2 level 8 Geodudes. Your pokemon should
be now between levels 14-17. If not, train a bit before you leave. Now go enter
the cave, and the old man will tell you that someone stole his Wingull and went
inside the cave. Enter take the item , and then battle the Team Aqua guy, he
will have a level 11 Poochyena. Get rid of him like the last time. After you
beat him, he will give you back the Devon Goods, the old man called Mr. Briney
will come and thank you, and tells you he will do you a favor whenever you want.
(Remember the empty house before we entered the forest, that's his house and
where we will be going soon.)

Now go back to Rustboro City. Give him the goods, and he will decide to
take you to meet the manager of the company. =x He will thank you, and asks you
for a favor, he will give you a suitcase for someone in Slateport, and a letter
for Steven in Dewford City. He will also heal your pokemon and he will give you
the PokeNav. The PokeNav has a map, an Entry Call where you can call people
like in G/S/C. For right now, it only has a map of Hoenn. Now when you leave
the building, some scientist will come and talk to you, he will give you the
Entry Call. Now since you're already healed go south and you will see your
RIVAL. S/he will be suprised to see you and soon she will ask you for a battle.
Yes is the top choice, so the battle will begin! S/he will first use a level 13
Wingull ( Wingull if you use Mudkip, don't know bout the other 2), which might
be tough as your pokemon probably vary between levels 14-17. I don't think you
have an electric pokemon, so just use your starter on Wingull. S/he will then
use her/his starter pokemon. Now use your toughest pokemon other than your
starter and try to faint him. If you can't, you should at least lowered his HP
in which your starter or second pokemon can faint her. Now after you beat
her/him continue going south. Go through the Petalburg Forest. Now go inside the
house and you will see Mr. Briney chasing his Wingull in a playful way. Talk to
him and you will tell him that you need to send some objects across the sea. He
will offer you to go on his ship. Now he will take you to Dewford City.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.4 Across The Sea To Dewford City
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now you have landed in Dewford City, there's a couple of stuff to do here.
Heal if you want and go to the house above the Pokemon Center. Talk to the guy
outside of the house, he will ask you what's the cool statement right now. Tell
him anything and enter the house and you will see everyone talking about it.
( Lol) Anyways go up the beach and battle the fisherman. He will have a level
11 Tentacool. The only thing that might bother you is his confuse ray. Continue
and you will see another fisherman. Now enter the cave and If your team is not
between levels 16-20 then train here. Talk to the hiker and he will give you
HM - 5. You still need the second badge to use it out of battle. The first
level has around pokemon 7-10, the second level of the cave needs HM - Flash
which is available after beating the gym here, so train and get your squad
ready. Most of the pokemon here are usually Zubat, Aron and Makuhita.

When your squad is ready, leave the cave and go south and heal and enter
the gym. Now in this gym whenever you beat a trainer, the there will be more
light, so first go forward, right, then down and battle the first trainer. She
will only use a level 13 Meditite. Use your starter to faint her.
Now go up then right and stay on the path, now you will have a double battle.
Both trainers will use a level 13 Machop and Meditite. Now go back, then take
the forward path, go right and another right to battle another trainer. She
will have a level 13 Meditite. Go left until you see Brawly, the gym leader.
If you want you can go to the other side and battle the other trainers to
toughen up your pokemon before you battle against Brawly, it's your choice.
The other two trainers have a level 13 Machop and a level 13 Makuhita.

Now, Brawly has 3 pokemon, the first is a level 16 Machop, level 16
Meditite, and a level 19 Makuhita. If you caught and trained Taillow he
will be useful here. His Wing Attack could easily beat them all 3 if he's
around 15-18. If you don't, your starter with a little help with another
good pokemon could do it.

Congratulations, you won your second badge. Now to do to the second part,
you need to give Steven the letter. First, you need a pokemon to teach him
Flash. Now, only Trecko and Shroomish can learn Flash, those who have the
water and fire pokemon, and didn't catch Shroomish yet can be in trouble so
instead of going back to the forest and looking for it, you can go without
using flash. When you go to the second level, stay on the right of the wall
and stay with it, sooner or later you will reach the ladder. On the third
level, go up with the wall, and then left with the wall till you see a
smashable rock and some stairs. Go up the stairs then stay with the wall on
the right till you see the ladder. On the 4 level just go left and you will
see the ladder. Then you will be in a light area and should be easy. Enter
to the next area and you will see Steven. Give him the letter and he will
give you TM - Steel Wing. I think you will add his number to the Entry Call,
he will then leave. You should have an Escape Rope if not, go back till
the beginning. :P Heal if you have to and go to Mr.Briney and choose the
answer in the middle and Slateport City here we come!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.5 Slateport City
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Soon you will reach the beach area, there are a couple of trainers on the
beach so start battling! First go to the two tubers. The girl will give you
SoftSand, while the boy will give you nothing.. ( Selfish kid..)Now go to the
other side and battle the sailor (Btw this is your 32nd trainer you have
battled.. he he). He will have a level 12 Wingull and a level 12 Machop.
There's also another tuber trainer. He will have level 13 Zigzagoon. Go to the
sailor and then another girl tuber will come to battle. They will use a level
13 Marill and a level 13 Wingull. Take the item at the top of the beach, and
you will see a hidden girl tuber on the left greenish umbrella, then you will
see a boy tuber from the other umbrella, and it will turn into a double battle.
=X They will together have 4 pokemon so this might be tough. First they will
use a 2 level 12 Tentacool and 2 Azurill. Now go to the left and you will see
a seashore hut. Enter and the owner will tell you he likes hot battles, and if
you beat all three trainers he will give you a free drink. The women trainer
will have a level 13 Goldeen, the tuber will have 2 level 12 Azurill. The sailor
will have a level 11 Wingull, Tentacool and Machop. Go talk to the owner and he
will give you your prize which is a drink which heals 60 HP. Now leave the hut
and go forward to enter Slateport City.

First of all, heal if you have to. You will notice a very long line of
Team Aqua members at the museum of ocean. Now go to the north and you will see
an interesting building, this is the Pokemon Tent. You can battle herewith
three random pokemon, so go the glasses guy and say yes to enter. Now you get
to choose three of them, for example press on the first, if you want to see
information about it click on the top choice, the second to use it in the
battles, and the last is to go back to choosing. It's the best to choose
different types, like Grass, Water, Electric etc. Now you will go to the
battle arena. The trainers and pokemon are random. They all are at level 30.
You can't use any items. Only people that know many pokemon's moves can easily
win herewith some luck. Some pokemon might also have items carried with them.
When you win, they will heal you. I think you can also change your pokemon
after the battle, but since I don't know Japanese I am not sure. And you can
choose one from your last opponent. After three battles you can leave. Your
prize is a Great Ball. (That's what I got I think.)

Now go to the building that's below the museum, go forward and talk to
the first guy you see, then go to the museum and enter. The fee is 50 Pokebucks.
You will see lots of Team Aqua members, One of them s the one that you battled
at Petalburg Woods. Now go climb the stairs and talk to the scientist. That
scientist guy is Captain Stern, the person you must deliver to him the suitcase.
Just before he was about to take the suitcase Team Aqua appears. Seems they
want the suitcase. One of them will come and battle you. He will use a level 15
Carvanha. It should be easy, as your team should be around levels 19-23. Beat
him, and the member next to him will battle you. He has a level 15 Carvanha and
a Zubat. Beat him and they will get confused. Fortunately, Archie their master
will come and tell you that you shouldn't mess with them, and he wants to
expand the ocean. Unfortunately he won't battle you, I guess he's too scared.
=x He will heal you and leaves. Leave and you will see Enshida, the mysterious
guy until now. You will add him to your Entry Call. He will talk a bit and then
leaves. Now get some super potions, poke balls and anything else you need from
the Shop and go north.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.6 The Road To Mauvile
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You should now be at Route 110. There are two ways, the normal walking,
and the Cycle Road. Unfortunately you don't have a bicycle, so you have to go
by the normal road. Stay on the path and you will see Prof Birch! He will be
suprised to see you ( He looks around which probably means he's suprised to
see you have reached until here) and you will add him to your Entry Call. He
will then have to go. Contuse and you will see two trainers. They will have 2
level 14 Minun and 2 Plusle. Go forward and you will see the Trick house! Its
back from Ruby, you can only do the first puzzle with Cut, ill do a guide for
that later. Go left and continue, and try not to have many battles with the
wild pokemon, you will know why soon. Battle the trainer and he will have a
level 15 Aron and Electrike. Go up, and you will see..... your rival! Now the
main reason is to not battle the wild pokemon here is because Electrike has
ability to paralyze the foe on contact, and there's some Electrike here.
Anyways she will have a level 16 Grovyle, a level 15 Wingull, and a level 15
Slugma. That's if you have the water starter, no idea yet about the rest. But
they will have the same level so good luck. Mainly, catch one of the wild
electric pokemon near you, and it should help you. Use the same technique you
used on the last battle and make sure your team is around levels 20-24 and you
should be successful.

When you beat her/him, s/he will give you the Item Finder. The Item Finder
is used to find hidden items that are close to you. Go forward and you will
battle a double battle. Looks like they were fighting.. They well have
Electrike, Lombre, Nuzleaf and Voltorb, all level 14. Also another double
battle, they will have a Magnemite and an Abra both at level 15. Take the item
which is a Max Elixir. Go up and battle the fisherman. He will have 2 level 14
Wailords, and 2 level 11 Tentacools. Take the berries if you want, and Mauvile
City will appear.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.7 The Electrifying Mauvile Gym!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First of all, heal your pokemon, it must have been a rough road, with
battling 3 double battles and your rival. Make sure your pokemon range between
20-25. This will be an easy gym for most starters. For now go to the shop
next to the Pokemon Center with bikes, here you can get a bike. When he asks
you if you like bikes tell him yes and he will give you a bike of two choices,
the top one is the Mach Bike, it's a very fast bike, but not good for your
adventure IMO right now. Choose the lower one to get the Acro Bike. It's not
very fast, but its good to steer which is important right now. You can also
do tricks by holding B and pressing B.

After you have gotten your bike, head towards the gym on the other side
of the city, and you will see Wally, the kid you helped before in Petalburg
City. You will see him talking with his Uncle, saying that he wants to battle
the gym leader, then he will notice you, and says that he wants to try the gym,
then he asks for a battle so he can prove that he is ready, accept, as its
free exp, he isn't really tough, you will see. He has a level 16 Ralts, see
what I mean he should be easy compared to the last battles, but here's my
advice, try fainting him quickly, he might use Double Team and raises his
evadiness which might get some what frustrating, but as long your team is
around levels 20-25, you should beat him sooner or later. He will be a little
bit disappointed, but he decides that he shouldn't battle the gym leader.
Then he will leave, but his Uncle will stop and thank you for helping Wally,
as he has become in a better attitude since he moved to Verdanturf City.
Then Enshida will appear after a bit, he will leave. Go to the Game Corner,
the building under the gym, and go to next the women's that are selling
coins, next to them on the left is a girl who will give you a free doll.:)
Now if you want to play the games you need a coin case, to get the coin case
go to the house between the game corner and the Poke Market, talk to the
girl and she will wish she had a Harbor Mail sold at Slateport City,
simply go buy it at Slateport Poke Market and give it to her for the coincase.

Now to the part most of you have come for Mauvile City, the gym. Now
Wattson uses Electric pokemon and his gym is like a small puzzle, first
battle the double trainers, they will have 2 level 17 Meditite, level 17
Voltorb and Electrike. Now press on the electric sign near the female trainer.
Continue and press on the next one, and battle the young trainer, he will
have a level 17 Zigzagoon and the same level Lupin. Now go down and walk on
the button. Go up and click on the button and go down without walking on the
next one. Next you will have a double battle, they will use all of them at
level 17 which are Magnemite, Voltorb, Illumise and Volbeat. Now the way to
Wattson is cleared He will use a Voltorb at level 20, be careful, as when
his HP is pretty low he might use Explosion. Best to use a rock pokemon or
Aron if you caught him before. After him is Electrike at level 20. Finish
him with Marshtomp's Mud Shot, or Combusken's Double Kick. The same for the
LV 22 Magneton. Again the same moves for Manetric at level 24, but be careful
Wattson could use a super potion, so try to finish him quickly. Soon you
should have won the badge, and congratulations on your third badge! Before
you leave the city, go to the house that's to the right of the Poke Mart.
Talk to the guy to receive HM-06 Rock Smash. Teach it to a pokemon and make
sure you have been healed, go west.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.8 Route 111 & 112
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
______________________________________________________________________________
Route 111 Trainers

Trainer 1 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 19 Sandshrew & Level 18 Roselia
Trainer 2 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Numel & Shroomish
Trainer 3 : (Vinstrate Member, Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 16 Taillow &
Zigzagoon
Trainer 4 : (VM, Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 17 Roselia
Trainer 5 : (VM, Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 15 Marill, Shroomish &Numel

Trainer 8 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 17 Shroomish & Marill
Trainer 9 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Sandshrew
[____________________________________________________________________________]

Now the first thing you will see is two trainers which will have a double
battle with you. Next you see two paths, the right is the Trainer Hill, I'll
make a section for that later on. Go to the left and you will battle another
double battle. Take the item as a prize. You will see a house, it's the
Vinstrate house. It has 4 trainers, they all like to battle, when you beat the
father, he will call them, the mother will come, then the little daughter,
then she will cry for her grandmother, the grandmother is the toughest, so be
careful. As you will have 4 battles in a row. If you lose.. then you should
go back and train in the previous routes till you win.

Go back to Mauvile City if you want and heal, go back and continue north.
You will see two smashable rocks, smash them and continue. Now you will see
two TV reporters. Battle them and when you win, they will be amazed and ask you
for a short phrase about the game, give them anything you want, it won't really
matter right now as most of you can't probably read Japanese. Continue up and
battle the next trainer, after you beat her you will see another trainer. When
you finish, you will notice a desert, and unfortunately you can't go thru cause
of the sandstorm, and you need goggles to go through, don't worry about it for
now. That's pretty much all of the things you do in Route 111. Your pokemon
should raise between levels 23-27.

_____________________________________________________________________________
Route 112 Trainers

Trainer 1 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Nuzleaf
Trainer 2 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 17 Tailow & Lombre
Trainer 3 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : 2 Level 16 Geodude & Level 17 Geodude
Trainer 4 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 17 Numel & Machop
[____________________________________________________________________________]

This route has pretty much nothing, beat the two easy trainers and you
will see some grass. You can catch a Numel and a Machop, both ranging between
14-17. Both are pretty useful, so if you don't have any strong or much pokemon
these two will be pretty useful. If you have Torchic as a starter, then these
two won't be that useful. Continue and you will battle two hikers. Continue
and you will see some Team Magmas blocking the path. Forget them for now and
go thru the cave.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.9 Fiery Path & Route 112 & 113
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

_____________________________________________________________________________
Route 112 Trainers

Trainer 1 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Shroomish, Numel, Slugma,

Trainer 2 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 17 Electrike, Wailmer &Makuhita
Trainer 3 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 17 Wingull, Numel, & Roselia
[____________________________________________________________________________]

Fiery Path has really nothing for now, as you need HM-4 Strength to move
the boulder and therefore receive Fire Stone and TM-50 Overheat. You could
catch a few pokemon for your Pokedex, or your team like Grimer and Koffing.

Soon, you will be back on Route 112. Now you can have a double battle, or
a single battle, I'll just assume that you had a double battle. It's your
choice. When you beat them, you can take the berries if you want. Continue
and you will have a harder battle than the rest with the cool trainer. Go
up and talk to the guy next to the tree. He will give you TM-43 Secret Power.
You can use it for making secret bases and as a good attack. Continue, and
go to the house. Talk to the old lady and she will rest your pokemon.
(Awesome!) Go up and talk to the lady and she will give you a Razz Berry.
Take the berries at the top if you want to. Battle the last trainer on this
route and continue to the next route.

______________________________________________________________________________
Route 113 Trainers

Trainer 1 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 19 Trapinch
Trainer 2 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Koffing, Baltoy, Sandshrew,&
Ninjask
Trainer 3 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : 2 Level 18 Aron
Trainer 4 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 19 Numel
Trainer 5 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : 2 Level 19 Spinda
Trainer 6 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : 2 Level 17 Koffing
Trainer 7 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 19 Aron
Trainer 8 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 17 Skarmory & Marill, Level 19
Lombre & Swellow
[____________________________________________________________________________]

As you begin this route, you will see some ashes falling, not snow. In
my opinion, this is one of the best areas. It looks pretty different from the
other areas. Anyways the main pokemon here are Slugma, Spinda, and Skarmory.
Keep going left till you see a trainer (This is the number 80 trainer you will
battle in this game. ;p). Go forward, then right and press A on the mound. Its
an item. Jump right on the ledge and you will have a double battle. As soon as
you finish you will battle another trainer. You will receive a Hyper Potion
and another item. Go back and continue left this time. Battle the trainer, and
then you will have another double battle. Go right and take the Max Elixir.
Jump over the ledge and continue left. You will see a house. Talk to the guy
inside and he will give you a Soot Pack. You need to collect ashes by walking
around, when you get enough ashes he can make you a Blue Flute, Black & White
Flute, and a Pretty Desk and Pretty Chair. Go left and you will see a trainer
covered with ashes, when you get close to him, he will battle you. When you
finish, go down then left till you meet another trainer. Also don't forget the
item at the top which is a TM. Before you leave the route, you will have a
double fight, which might be a single one, depends on when you make them notice
you.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.10 Fallarbor Town
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's really nothing very important here like the rest of the cities,
but there's the Move Tutor here, you need a Heart Scale so he can teach your
pokemon a move. Also the Battle Tent, which is the most interesting part here.
Heal your pokemon, and enter the Battle Tent.

Note : You don't have to enter the Battle Tent if you want, this is just
an extra. When you enter, you will notice Enshida. Talk to him and then go to
the guy that blacks the entrance inside. This Battle Tent is different, you
choose three of your pokemon and use them instead. You will save and enter the
battle arena. Now you have to faint the pokemon in three moves, if not you will
be judged depending on your move, Triangle is 1 point, Circle is 2 points, and
Cross is 0. (Thanks to Serebii.net for this part of info.) When you gain more
points, they loser will faint. Now you can continue till you win, or just leave.

Before you leave this town, go to the Pokemon Center and talk to the lady
on the computer. she is Lanette the owner of the PC. She lives on route 114.
Now that's all for this town.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.11 Route 114 And The Meteor Falls
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

______________________________________________________________________________
Route 113 Trainers

Trainer 1 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 19 Barboach
Trainer 2 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 19 Barboach & Nuzleaf
Trainer 3 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 16 Magikarp & Level 17 Goldeen
& Level 19 Barboach

Trainer 5 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Sandshrew & Nuzleaf
Trainer 6 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 19 Aron
Trainer 7 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Slugma & Wingull
Trainer 8 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Geodude, Lombre, Numel &
Marill
Trainer 9 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Geodude & Machop
[____________________________________________________________________________]

Now as you begin this route, you will see a house, go inside and into the
tunnel and talk to the maniac, you will know why soon and continue to battle
the fisherman. Continue and talk to the old man with a Poochyena to give you
TM-5 Roar. Now continue and go right before you go on the bridge. You will have
a double battle. When you win, go forward and take the item which is
EnergyPowder. Go down the bridge and battle the fisherman, then you will battle
a lady. Go down thru the grass and then right and get ready for a double
battle. Now when you beat them, go up and enter the house. This is the home
of... the messy home of Lanette. She will be embarrassed about the mess and
hopes that you excuse her. She will then give you a doll.

Exit her house, and if you want some berries, go behind the house to get
them. Now go back then down and battle the trainer. Go left and battle the
next trainer. When you beat him, go up the stairs, then go down, then right,
then up, and then left to battle the trainer. Continue and you will have a
double fight. Continue to battle the last trainer on route 113. (Finally!)

Now you have arrived at Meteor Falls, its a wonderful place. Go forward
till you see an item, take it, its Full Heal. Now go down and go left to see
Team Magma for the first time! They will steal the Meteorite from the
scientist and then Team Aqua will arrive, and Team Magma will run away. Your
job here is done. Now go down the stairs and exit the place to go back to
Rustboro City.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.12 The Road To Verdanturf Town
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Route 115 Trainers

Trainer 2 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 19 Machop
Trainer 3 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Meditite, Spoink, Seviper
& Zangoose
[____________________________________________________________________________]

Get ready for a long road! Go left and into the beach to battle the
trainer, go back on the main road and smash the rock and take the item. Battle
the trainer and continue going down. You will now have a double battle. Go
forward to see an item which is PP Up. Jump over the ledge and go forward to
arrive at Rustboro City again. Now heal, and go to the owner of the Devons Corp
building to get your gift for doing the errand he asked you for, which is Exp
Share. Now leave and go to the house under, and go upstairs. You will see a
sick girl in bed, with all of her pokemon around her. I think you must tell her
a special word, and she will get up and probably give you a gift. Thats what I
think.. Anyways go east to Route 116. Now you should see the Devons Guy at the
entrance of the cave, talk to him and he will give you a Premier Ball. Enter
the cave now.

______________________________________________________________________________
Rusturf Tunnel Trainers

Trainer 1 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 16 Geodude,
[____________________________________________________________________________]

Now go till the end to be stopped by two rocks, smash them by using Rock
Smash. Then the guy will thank you and give you HM - Strength. Then he will
talk to his beloved girlfriend and leave the cave. Strength is probably the
second best HM in the game, its base power is 80 and is one of the best normal
attacks, I do insist in giving it to one of your pokemon, as its a good move.
Continue and take the item and get ready for the only trainer battle here.
When you finish, go left and down till you see an exit. Now follow my
direction exactly. From the exit you came from, go down 2 steps, then 3 steps
right and stop. Press A to recieve Dark Glasses which power ups Dark Moves,
give it to a dark pokemon. The guy was looking for his glasses, but that wasnt
his glasses, and you cant find it. Now leave this place and go back to where
you where after the battle and go down to exit this place.

Welcome to the beautiful and small town of Verdanturf. This is somewhat
a clone of Fallobar Town, with only a Battle Tent, and Wally's Uncles house
here. Before, it was somewhat more important, but now with the contests all
in Lilycove City, its made these two cities somewhat useless. Anyways, you
go visit Wally, but no gifts, so Battle Tent here we come.

This battle tent is somewhat different, you randomly use a move and you
mainly need luck to win, thats all what i know about it right now, and you
also choose 3 of your pokemon. I guess thats all for Verdanturf City, now go
east to route 117.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.13 Mt.Chimney

Trainer 8 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 17 Makuhita &Level 15 Zigzagoon
Trainer 9 : (Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 17 Doduo
[____________________________________________________________________________]

Now go thru this route, most of it is trainers, lots. Also a pokemon
daycare, so if you want to place a weak pokemon here, do it if you want. I
really have nothing else to say, as the trainers chart should be enough.

______________________________________________________________________________
Mt. Chimney Trainers

Trainer 1 : (Team Magma Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 20 Numel & Zubat
Trainer 2 : (TM Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 18 Numel, Level 22 Numel,
Level 20 Poochyena, & Level 22 Zubat
Trainer 3 : (Team Magma Leader Single Battle) Pokemon : Level 24 Mightyena,
Level 24 Zubat, & Level 25 Camerupt
[____________________________________________________________________________]

Go north to route 111, and keep continuing till you reach route 112.
Now go up till the entrance of Fiery Path, instead of entering go right to
where the Team Magma members were blocking and get ready to take a cable to
Mt. Chimney. Now as you enter Mt. Chimney you will see ashes falling and Team
Aqua members battling Team Magma members. Climb up and you will see a double
battle between the members using Poochyenas, go left and get ready for a
double battle. Go forward to have another battle. This battle might be tough,
with many level 20 pokemon and the latest battles werent in the 20's, now get
ready for the boss of Team Magma.

At the beggining he will talk about his dream to expand land. This will
be a tough battle, he will first use Mightyena which is kinda strongest
pokemon. Use your starter as he should be the highest level and has the best
stats of the pokemon that you were available to be caught till now. Second is
Zubat, any ground/rock or any good leveled pokemon can get rid of him just
watch out for his Confuse Ray, switch if your pokemon is confused as we dont
want to give them any chance in beating your pokemon. Third and last pokemon
is Camerupt, which could be tough if you dont have a water Pokemon. Marshtomp
or Wingull can end him quickly, if not use your best attacking pokemon with a
couple of potions can finish the battle.

When you beat him, he will leave, then Archie will come, I dont know if
he's thanking you or threatening you, as he isnt like in Ruby/Sapphire. Also
take the Meteorite from the machine. Now go south and enter the path that was
blocked to enter the Jagged Pass.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.14 The Jagged Pass 1

Trainer 4 : (Double Battle) Pokemon : Level 21 Magnemite, & Shroomish
Trainer 5 : (Single Battle) Pokemon :
[____________________________________________________________________________]

By using Acro Bike, you can go back in this route, by hopping over the
small rocks. Anyways, go forward to battle a hiker. Jump over the ledges and
you will see a Team Magma Member looking at the wall. Remember this place, as
I think this will be the future hideout for Team Magma, battle him and he will
say some weird stuff, maybe a password, dont know what exactly. Battle the
other trainer and then jump over the ledges getting ready for a double battle.
Now jump over the ledges and get ready for the last battle.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.15 The Hot Lavaridge City
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to Lavaridge City, first enter the Pokemon Center and go to the
upper left side and you will see a hot steamy water, you can go in it. Go back
and heal your pokemon, also make sure that you have an empty space in your
team, you will know why soon. ;) Now go to the women next to the man in the
sand, and say yes to recieve a egg which will hatch into an egg. You can also
sit in the sand, just go behind it like the bed in your room. =p Enough
having fun and to get serious, get some items if you need to, and enter the
gym and the far left corner. Hopefully, your team is between levels 28-32, if
it is, then you should be able to beat this leader.

[____________________________________________________________________________]

This is kinda a puzzle gym and pretty confusing, you step on a fire spot
and it sends you into another area. One way to reach the leader is to go to
each hole like I did. ;) But since I'm a nice guy, I'll tell you how to go
exactly. Now from the entrance, go left then up to the second spot you see.
Go down, then left ignoring all of the spots you see, and go to the one at
the very top. From there, go up then left. Then go up, and go to the spot at
the left side. Next, go to the one thats kinda in the middle of all of the 3
spots. Then go right and then up to the first spot you see, which is the one
in the middle. Then you will see two spots, take the one on the right side.
Jump over the ledge and enter the first spot you see and you will reach the
gym leader Flannery!

Now, as I said before having a good balanced team with levels 28-32
will probably make you victorious in this battle. I used my level 29 Numel
against both Numel and Slugma, using Magnitude I had no problem. Then Camerupt
gave me so hard time, I lowered his HP till the yellow range but he got rid
of me. then my Mightyena at level 30, he used a couple of Bites, which
flinched him some times, but he also used a super potion, but he went down
pretty soon. Next Torkoal, a couple of Bites, and then he was down. Next my
Marshtomp. His Water Gun wasnt very succesful, but Mud Shot and Mud Slap was
at the end, I beated Flannery, with around 60% of my Marshtomp's HP gone.
Hopefully you have caught a water pokemon, and have a good ground or a good
attacking pokemon, they should help you alot, and keep your water pokemon
mainly for Torkoal, he is pretty good.

When, you leave the gym, your rival will appear. Dont worry, she wont battle
you this time, but she will give you Go-Go goggles so you can now go through
the desert! Now where to go to? Yep, to the desert!

There is a new place here, the Illusion Pillar, its a very random place
if you dont see it, you have to keep coming and checking, its really luck. You
also need Mach Bike, as it has the same holes in Sky Tower. At the top you
find 2 fossils, when you choose one, the other one will fall down, you can get
it after the Elite 4. Other than that, there is trainers which you can battle.

Now, we have to go south to Slateport City, now we can use the Cycle Road
instead of walking thru the grass route with unwanted weak wild pokemon. In
the Cycle Road, there isnt any tough trainers, as we were supposed to be here
before, so most pokemon here are around levels 14-16. Make your weakest pokemon
battle them. When you finally reach Slateport City, go south to Route 109, you
will see Mr. Briney still waiting for you to take you to Petalburg City, well
actually near it. >_>

You will be on Route 104, so just walk south across the grass and to
enter Petalburg City!

The gym here isnt a puzzle, but how you deal with status changes like
high accuracy, critical attack, speed etc. You get to choose two rooms, all
lead to Norman, now I'll make a way for those who choose the left rooms, and
those who choose the right rooms.

[____________________________________________________________________________]

As you see, you can choose a side, you can also battle them all, last
room in each side is a Knock Out Room, where one hit can do greta damage.
Lowering their accuracy is a good idea, or good defense or just knocking them
out quickly. Machop can make this gym easy, without him its gonna be tough.

The gym leader has different pokemon from the last games, but its still
as hard as the last time. Spinda should be easy, just try to finish him
before he lowers your HP alot, as HP is very important here. Slakoth is some
what as annoying as Slaking, try to lower his accuracy and hit him with strong
attacks before he can recieve a potion which will make it hard for you.
Linoone is the same as Spinda, just try to finish him off quickly, then comes
Slaking, one of the toughest pokemon you will meet. He has an excellent HP and
stats similiar to legedenaries. The best way to beat him is to lower his
accuracy, I used Marshtomp's Mud Slap which did the job perfectly. When you
lower his HP to the lowest, change your pokemon to a good attacking pokemon.
At the beginning I used Numel's Magnitude, which was pretty good. But when
Slaking's HP reached the red area, the super potion appeared! So I decided to
use my Mightyena, I began with Rock Smash, yes its base attack is 20, but its
affective, and lowers defense. I kept using it till the yellowish area. I then
knocked him out with a Bite. Mainly, using strong attacks on Spinda and Linoone
to finish them without affecting most of your HP, and lowering Slakoth and
Slaking's accuracy with the help that they only attack a turn, and the next
they dont, and then finishing them with a strong attack to avoid them using
Super Potions.

When you beat him, he will give you the badge and a TM, then Wally's
father will take you to his house, and give you HM-03 Surf. The best attacking
HM move. This is a must to any water pokemon. Good accuracy, good PP, and
excellent base attack. He will also thank you for helping Wally. Now that you
have surf, you can go over waters, now we have to cross the path of water on
the east of Mauvile. But we also have another path, a long one filled with
many trainers, and an abandoned ship...

Use surf here. Go south to meet your first trainer in the water. Keep going to
see a guy swimmer. Soon you will see an island with a walking trainer, battle
him. Go to the next island, to have a double battle. Go north in the same area
to see a swimming trainer. Go north to see a big rock without an entrance. You
might have even seen one in the desert too. Remember this for now, you will
know later why. Now go back to the first island you were on. You will see a
trainer swimming in the water nearby. Continue going down, to see some small
islands, you will see an item. Go south to reach Route 106 and a new trainer.
Go east to meet another trainer. You shall now see an item, take it and enter
Dewford City. Heal here and go east to Route 107.

When you finish, leave. You will see a boy, ignore him and go up the stairs to
see a sailor battle him. When you finish, go inside the cracked door. Take the
item and continue to the left and leave the room. Go up to the stairs next to
you. You shall now see a tuber trainer running around. Go down and into the
door to the room. You will have a double battle. Continue up and take the item
and you will have a double battle before you can leave the room. Now go down
and exit this area. You will be on the deck of the ship, go up the stairs into
the room. The scientist inside is looking for a scanner available on this ship.
Dont forget to take the item. There is also another couple of rooms in the area
you battled the sailor. In the middle room, you can dive and then find the
scanner, but since you dont have HM-08 Dive yet, leave the ship by using the
Escape Rope you just recieved. Now you will be back on route 107.

trainers and an item. When you finish, you will see a swimmer swimming towards
you. Now go right till you reach Route 109, continue and you will see a small
island with two trainers to have a double battle with them. Now surf north but
before doing that you should see a small island with an item, take it. Go north
a bit and you will see another trainer. Now you should see a small island north
of your place. Battle the two tubers then go east to find another swimming
trainer. Now go down a bit to battle another double battle on a small island.
Now you should reach Slateport City!!

Now heal at the pokemon center, as your pokemon must be pretty tired. Go
north till you reach Mauvile City. Best way is to use the Cycle Road.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.21 The New Mauvile
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now when you reached Mauvile City, in the middle of the path, you will see
Wattson, the gym leader of the Mauvile City. He will ask you to do him a favor.
The favor is to go to New Mauvile and close the generator. Now go south and
you should see some water. Surf and go east and under the Cycle Road bridge to
find a cave. Enter it.

Now go forward, and the door will open since you do have the key. Say yes
to open the door. Now this is a very confusing place, filled with many wild
electric typed pokemon. You can catch one, as electric pokemon will be very
useful later on. You should follow my directions now. Go down and step on the
first button you see. The blue door will open. Step on the yellow button and
continue. You will see a button, dont press it. Go thru then up. Take the item
and step on the button. Now go left and then up to see two buttons. Take the
item on the left button and step on it. Then step on the other one, and go up
then left. Now you will see a path to a closed door, and a path to two buttons.
The one on the left is a wild pokemon, and the other side is an item. Step on
the yellow button and go to the other path to reach the generator area. Go
right and then step on the button to stop the generator, take the item which
is a Thunder Stone. You should have recieved an Escape Rope, use it to leave
this place. Go back to Mauvile and talk to Wattson. He will give you TM-24
Thunder Bolt. This is a pretty good electric attack, so use it smartly.

levels 32-37, if not, then you will definately have very hard time on this
area of the game. Now surf over to the other side of the route.

Now when you reach land, you should see a fisherman. Say yes and he will
give you the Good Rod, its a pretty good rod for catching pokemon. Nearby you
will see the tv reporters! You should have battled them on the route north of
Mauvile City. To tell you the truth, I didnt tell them anything about the
battle, its just a waste of time if you cant read Japanese. Go forward to battle
a fisherman. Go up to see Steven. He seems to say hi and then will leave. Go

In this area it has long grass in which you cant use a bike, also they are
many hidden trainers around the grass. It will also rain. Now go left then up
and you should see a guy with dark hair battle him. There are many other bug
-catchers around here. Go up to see a trainer next to the item. Now go down a
bit then right to battle another bugcatcher. Now go up to meet another trainer.
Now go right a bit to meet another trainer. Now go up to see an item. To your
left is another trainer. Now you can go up and leave this annoying grass area.

Now go forward on this path to see a bridge, before you can go over it
a trainer will battle you. Now go across the bridge and then up to enter a
new area of long grass. You should now see a trainer. ( Thankfully its not
another grass catcher!) Now cross the grass and you will see a hiding trainer
on your left. Go forward to meet another trainer. Go up, if you have the Mach
Bike you can climb the mudslide, just go back a few steps and then go at top
speed. It will make you avoid the grass. If not go through the grass to have
a double battle. Oh, if you go back a few steps don the stairs then right you
can find an item. Now go back up, then left and down to see a trainer. Now
go north to reach the Weather Institute and Team Aqua blocking the way to
the bridge.

then go left instead of right to see a kid and a bed next to a computer. Go to
the bed and press A to take a nap and heal your pokemon! Send a pokemon to the
box to have some space in your team. You will know why soon. Go down then right
to begin owning some Team Aqua members!

Go right to battle a Team Aqua women member, then go up to battle another
Team Agua member. Now go up the stairs. You will have a double battle. Go left
to meet another bad guy. Then continue going left to battle the last member,
but this is a special member, its an admin, so you better be careful. A Team
Aqua member will come and tell her that we must go, thats what I think. Now
the scientist will give you the weather pokemon as a gift, its Castform.

The rain will now have stopped, cross the bridge that used to be blocked
and go up, but you will be stopped by.... your rival!

If you chose Water Starter : Level 29 Slugma, Pelipper, & Level 31 Sceptile

For this battle its best to use a rock/water pokemon on Slugma, some good
attacking pokemon for Lombre, and a fire pokemon for Sceptile. Should be a
somewhat easier battle from the other battles with this rival.

If you chose Fire Starter : Level 29 Torkoal, Lombre, Level 31 Marshtomp

The same goes for Lombre, cool off Torkoal and electrify Marshtomp.

If you choose Grass Starter : Level 29 Pelipper, Lombre, Level 31 Combusken

Electrify Pelliper, same for Lombre, and cool off Combusken.

Overall, the battle shouldnt be hard, as most of your pokemon should have
around a 5 levels difference.

When you finish, she/he will give you HM-02 Fly. Enshida will now
come. Now go down till you see an item, its Elixir (maybe). Now go up till you
see a trainer on the right. Now go to your left to see a tree with a trainer
hidden inside. ( He thinks he's so smart in hiding..) Now go forward to find
another trainer hiding in a tree. You can go left and take the berries. Now
continue right to FINALLY reach Fortree City.

This city is pretty interesting and very different. Most houses here are
build on trees! Heal at the Pokemon Center. Now as you go to the Pokemon Gym
at the center of the city, you will notice you cant go thru as their is
something invisible blocking your way. You can go to the house at the very
south east, they sell chairs and desks for your Secret Base. Other than that
go to Route 120, dont worry we will be back very soon.

Go east to battle a trainer. Continue to see a patch of long grass, you
will see the Tv reporters at the end of the path before entering the grass.
Now go through the grass on the very edge, and when you go thru the grass you
will see another trainer. Now cross the bridge to see once again Steven. He
will notice that something is blocking the way here, he will use a device and
you will get ready to battle it. It will be a level 30 Kecleon. Now I
recommend you to catch it now. He shouldnt be very tough to catch. I caught
him with a pokeball, and in the first attempt. But I had lowered his HP to the
red zone. He will give you the Devon Scope to help you use it at the gym. He
will then fly away. Now go back to Fortree City.

Now go to the Fortree City, when you are stopped by the invisible object,
then press A to use the Devons Corp machine. The Kecleon will run away. As you
see it was better to catch that one than this one. Now go heal and get ready
for another puzzling gym!

30 Pelipper, Level 31 Skarmory, & Level 33 Altaria
[____________________________________________________________________________]

Gym Type : Flying Pokemon, also brining a fire and water pokemon will be
useful as some pokemon have two types like Skarmory, Xatu, Tropius etc.

Now I will give you the exact direction from the beginning, and yes you
will have to battle all of the trainers.
- 2 up
- 11 left, then battle the trainer under you.
- 3 up
- 2 left
- 2 down
- 2 right
- 4 up and you will have a double battle.
- 1 down
- 3 right
- 4 up
- 2 right
- 2 up
- 2 left
- 3 down
- 1 up
- 2 right
- 4 up and get ready for a double battle.
- 2 left
- 2 up
- 6 left, and get ready for single battle.
- 2 up
- 1 right
- 2 down
- 3 right
- 6 up
- 3 left
- 6 down
- 4 right
- 1 left
- 4 up
- 10 right and you should see the gym leader.

Now heal your pokemon and get them ready for the gym leader battle. If
you got confused by the directions, keep trying, the main way to solve this
puzzle is to push the thingies to make it open a path, sometimes you have
to open it and go back or something, mainly the directions should be accurate
as i tested it after i did it. Winoona the gym leader uses 5 pokemon, so I
recommend you begin the battle with a weak pokemon, as Swablu shouldnt be
hard and its only level 29. Tropius will be somewhat tougher, but I think
you can beat him, use a fire pokemon if you cant. Also she might use some
super potions, which might be annoying. :p Next is a Pelipper at level 30
which could be even tougher. Keep using the pokemon you began the battle
with, if he faints, an electric pokemon will have lots of fun with Pelipper.
You should have caught one, an Electrike, or an electric pokemon from the
New Mauvile, if you havent use a rock or a good attacking pokemon. Using
a fast pokemon will also be useful, as Pelipper likes to use Protect. He
used Protect 3 times to my Mightyena, who I was using from the beginning
but he soon fainted him.

Next is a even stronger pokemon, Skarmory, at level 31. A fire pokemon
will do it will, your starter or a Camerupt will do it, or any water pokemon.
If you dont, get ready to have a tough battle. My Mightyena had fainted to
Skarmory, so I sended out my Camerupt. Who had lots of fun by playing fire
with him. ;p The last pokemon is Altaria at level 33. Use a rock pokemon, or
electric. If you havent, your starter will be the best at him, as usually the
starter has a very good stats compared to other pokemon in the beginning.
Altaria will use Earthquake which is a very strong attack, which is also
useful as you are probably using a rock/electric pokemon. My Camerupt replied
to the first Earthquake with a strong Rock Slide, but Altaria then used a
berry, and finished him with another Earthquake. :( Then I used Swampert, she
used Dragon Breath and paralyzed him, and Surf didnt do much. Then a Hyper
Potion continued my sorrows. I luckily had a Full Heal and finished her off
with two TakeDowns. If you cant beat her, just re-try andyou should soon beat
her. And now you can teach a pokemon Fly!

Heal and leave this city, continue to the bridge you were on with Steven.
Go down and it will begin to rain. You will see a trainer battle him. Continue
going south then go right to see two groups of double battles. When you finish
with both, you will see an item. Go down to meet another trainer. Go down thru
the path of grass, I think you might meet a Kecleon, if you do just use Devon
Scope machine. Now from the beginning of the path, go down then right, you will
see a trainer. Next go left then down to the second path to see a trainer.
Continue till you go thru some grass to reach the other path. Go all the way
left to take an item, go back right and continue on the path to see a ledge.
Jump over it and continue right to jump over another ledge. Cross the bridge
and go south to see another trainer. When you finish go across a couple of
grass to see an item. Its a Hyper Potion. Go down to see a couple of berries
on your left. Take them then go up the stairs to see a hidden trainer. Take
the berries on that area and surf over the water to take an item which is
Full Heal. Now go back and go east to reach Route 121.

Now you will see two trainers, it could turn into a double battle or into
a single depending on you. When you finish, you can go up and take some
berries. Lots of berries in this area I guess. Continue east to battle another
trainer. Continue to see some Team Aqua members, when they see you, they run
away. Go down the stairs, then go right to the item, take it, and then go up
to have a double battle. If you go up you will see the Safari Zone, you need
the National Dex to enter, which you recieve after the Elite Four. Go down
and continue going east to have a double battle. Go take the item, then go
up then left and down to battle another trainer. Go thru tha grass to take
a Carbos. Now go back right to battle a trainer. Now go down to see a trainer.
Go right to battle another trainer. Now continue on the path to reach......

The best thing to do first here is to heal, this city has lots of stuff to
do in. Now go north to see a huge building with your rival out of the door.
This is a Pokemon Mart Department. Now get ready to face your rival for the last
time.

Until now I am not sure about the pokemon your rival will use, if anyone
knows exactly, then please help me, thanks. Shouldnt be very hard, just do
what you used to do in the battle before. When you beat her/him, she/he will
then leave without giving you a gift. Now go inside the PokeMart Department
and buy many potions and full heals and revives, you will probably need them
soon. Now go heal your pokemon. You will also see a couple of Team Aqua
members. From the PokeMart, go right and jump over the ledges to go to the
beach area. Use surf and go north to enter a cave.

Now go up straight to see two Team Aqua members blocking the way. Talk
to them and they wont let you go in. Now go back to route 121, and surf south
to reach Mt.Pyre.

Now keep going south then go east to see an entrance to a mountain. You
will now enter Mt.Pyre. Its mainly a grave for dead pokemon, there are also
some trainers. First we will do the trainer battling part, then the main
purpose of why we are here.

From the beginning, go up to see some stairs. Now go down to have a double
battle. Now go righ to battle another trainer. Now go down then left to battle
the double trainers. Now go take the item which is a Ultra Ball. Now go to
the upper right side to go up the next stairs. Now go down to have a battle.
Now go down a bit, then left all the way to take an item which is a Max Repel.
Go up to the guy trainer and battle him, then go to the female trainer. Now go
climb up to the next floor. Now go to the other side to see a trainer. Go to
the next floor, to also see one trainer. On the next floor you will see two
trainers, it might be a single battle or a double battle depends on when you
let them see you. Now go to the other side to see an item which is TM-30.
Now to go back you have to fall into the holes. Now when you fall, you should
see an item, take it and fall into the BOTTOM hole to lead you to a part
of the floor that you couldnt enter. You will see another item. Fall into the
next hole. From here go to the next hole. You will now be back on the first
level.

Heal your pokemon if you need to with some of the items. Now go to the
left side of this floor to climb up the mountain. Now go thru the grass on the
right side, then climb up the stairs. Cross the grass and go down to recieve
a TM-48. Now go back and left to climb up the long stairs. Now go right and
climb up the next stairs and you will see an area with an item. Also you will
notice some mist will appear in this area. Now if you go to some tombs, you
might find some hidden items. Now go up the stairs and follow the path to
enter a new area. Now go forward to see some Team Aqua members. You will have
two single battles, then a double battle. Finally, you will see Archie. He
seems to have stolen the Blue Orb, and Maxie stoled the Red Orb, so the old
couple will give you a coin that can let you go inside Team Magma's Hideout.
So fly to Mauvile City, or you can do the long way through Route 123.

Now leave Mt.Pyre and from the entrance of the mountain surf down to see
the beginning of Route 123. Now as you begin this route, you will see a couple
of berries. Now go forward, you can ignore the grass if you want by cutting the
small trees. Soon you will have a double battle. Now you can either jump over
the ledge now, or go up from their. From up you can take some berries then jump
over the ledge to take an item. Jump over the ledge and go left, you can jump
on the ledge to the left side and have a double battle, or go up to have a
single battle. Continue and then jump over a ledge. You have two ways again,
either you jump over the ledge at the bottom and go have the double battle
and continue west, or go up to battle the trainer at the top. When you finish
the battle go west by jumping over the ledges to see a lake, with a item next
to it, go down and jump over the ledge to have a double battle. Now if you took
the other way and jumped down to have the double battle, go west after
finishing it to have another one with an item. Jump over to have a double
battle. Now you will reach a house, next to the berry field is a trainer, battle
her then enter the house.

This is the Berry Master house, talk to the old man, and he will give you
about a couple of berries. If you talk to his wife and tell her a specific
phrase she will give you a berry. Now go out and take the berries in the field
if you want, and go west. You will have a double battle, or a single depending
on the time you make them see you. Now go forward a bit to reach route 118.

Now, you can fly to Mauvile City, or Fallorbar city, then walk till Mt.
Chimney, or you can go walking their by foot. Theres a Wingull in this grass
area so you can catch it and teach it fly. Also make sure to have a pokemon
that knows Strength.

When you reach Mt. Chimney, the only thing you will notice is some
trainers which are underleveled, around levels 21 and so. Now go south to the
Jagged Pass. Just keep going down till you will be stopped by a noise. Then
a hidden door will appear, in the exact place you saw the Team Magma member
before on this pass.

Now as you enter this place, it will be similiar to
the Fiery Path. Also their will be many puzzles. First one just push the boulder
thats at the bottom, push it till the wall, then push the other one to the
wall to open a path. This place seems to have lots of mazes and different ways.
So for now, you will use my directions. Now go through the path . Go to your
right and go down to have your first battle here with a member. Go down to see
some weird looking machines and continue down ignoring the stairs. Now go down
to see a member. Go left to see another one. Go down to the next area to battle
some members that are walking around a machine. Continue going down the stairs,
and ignore the door, keep going to find another exit. Now go left till you will
meet another member. Now go down the stairs, then right ignoring the door
entrance, and go down the stairs and keep going down to battle another member.
By now, you should notice that most of them have their pokemon around levels 29.
Now go left then up to take an item, then go down to the exit. Now go down the
stairs and go left passing the weird machines. Now go down a bit then up to
battle a member. Go up and get ready for a double battle. Continue on the path
to battle the Admin. He will use a level 26 Numel, level 28 Mightyena, level 30
Zubat, then a level 33 Camerupt. At the beginning it should be easy, Zubat
shouldnt be much of a trouble, but Camerupt will be trouble though. Continue
and you will see an item behind a machine. Then go down, then left to see
Maxie and Groudon sleeping!! You will notice that he is also blocking the way
to the exit hehe.

When you talk to him, he will use the Blue Orb that he stolen, Groudon will
awake, then walk forward a bit, then flys away! Maxie will look around, confused
of whats happening. Then he will battle you for kinda messing it up. Now, this
battle is kinda way tougher than the before!! He will begin with a level 37
Mightyena! Still, your pokemon should be around 3-5 levels higher. Begin the
battle with a strong attacking pokemon, and you should be able to beat him. Be
careful, he might use a Super Potion too. Next is a even stronger pokemon, a
level 38 Crobot. Electrify or freeze him out quickly, or any rock pokemon too.
Also, Maxie will probably use a Super Potion too. (Thats what he did with me.)
Next is his last pokemon, a level 39 Camerupt! Water pokemon will have lots of
fun here, espicially anyone who has the attack Surf. ;p When you beat him, he
will leave. Go to the exit on your right, you will be in a new area, go left
and take the item. Now go through the very long stairs to enter a new area. You
will also have to climb another group of long stairs. Now in the new area, jump
over the ledge and then go north to be back on the same path you came from. The
rest should be easy. And for the boulders at the beginning, just push the first
one down, then go right to be able to continue.

Now fly to Slateport City, heal, then go to the northeast building to see
a crowd of people. It turns out, the tv reporters are interviewing Captain
Stern. The tv reporters will leave, and Captain Stern will talk to you, soon
Team Aqua will be talking on the microphones saying they will take over the
submarine. Cpt. Stern will take you inside, to see Archie and a member of Team
Aqua almost about to take the submarine, go to them and they will say it is too
late to stop them. With that they will jump inside the submarine. Cpt. Stern
will then tell you that you need to stop them.

Fly to Lilycove City, and go to their hideout. This time, their wont be
someone blocking the way, allowing you to enter. You will find a member walking
around, battle him. Now go north then on the right side to see a door. Now you
will see two warps. Go to the one on the right, to go to a room with an item.
Then go back to the left one. Go righ then down to battle a member. When you
finish, go right to have a double battle. Now go to the warp. You will be in a
room with a door, enter it. You will see a member walking around, battle him.
Then go down to a warp, it will lead you to a room with an item. Go back and go
to the other side to see a warp. In the next room go through the door. Go down
a bit and a member will battle you. Now go up to the next door. In this room
you will have a double battle. Now go through the next warp. Here you will see
an Admin blocking the way to the submarine, battle him. This guy shouldnt be
that tough.

When you beat him, the submarine will begin moving, then he will say
that I was just here to stall you, while their were getting ready to leave. Go
through the warp at the bottom to be back around the beginning, got to the left
warp. Now instead of going all the way right then up, go right, then down and
left to see a new warp. In this area, there will be three warps to choose.
Choose the one in the left, then the middle, then the one on the left. Now go
to the one on the left too. You will be in a room with 4 items, but not all
are items! 2 of them will be a level 30 Electrode. You can either beat it or
catch it if you want. First, you must battle one, either the top or the bottom.
Then choose the one behind it, and it will be an item, and then choose the one
under it. Now you are a proud owner of the rare Master Ball. :D Use it wisely.
Now go back, choose the one in the middle. Then the one on your right. You will
be back to the first warp, step away then walk on it to go back. Now go back
all the way and leave this hideout. Now you can surf east, to Mossdeep City,
because there isnt any Team Aqua or Wailords blocking the way.

go all the way east till you 'bump' into a trainer. Now go south, then west to
see a two trainers. Now go back east till you meet another trainer. You will
probably notice some areas with dark colored blue, thats a place where you can
use HM-08 Dive, you cant dive right now though. Now go down a bit then go east
to see another trainer swimming around. Now continue going east to see some

While you are still on the watery beach area, you will see a fighting guy.
He is actually a Move Tutor and teaches a fighting move which I am uncertain
until now. Now go inside the city and heal your pokemon. When you heal them
go to the northwest side of the city. Its Stevens house, but its mainly empty
as he has just recenly moved, you wont see him inside so leave. Follow the path
that leads to the eastern side of the city, to see Enshida. Go up the stairs to
see a white rock. It seems its mainly useless I guess. Go right and climb the
following stairs. This is the Space Center area, inside you will see Steven and
some other scientists and people working. Now leave and buy some items and get
ready to battle the gym leader here.

This gym will be very confusing. Its different than the old gym in Ruby/
Sapphire. From the beginning, go up and left and press on the yellow sqaure
once. You will now be forced to a double battle. When you finish go forward to
the next warp. In here press the yellow sqaure once, and then go down then right
to have a double battle. Continue to find two ways. Go to the warp on the right.
Go forward a step to press the pink square which will make you have a double
battle. Press on the next square and go down to have two single battles.
Continue on the path till you reach a green square. Step on it once, then go
back a step and then step on it again. Now go up and go to the warp on the left
side. You will now arrive at the beginning. Go back to the two choices area,
the first time you choosed right, now go to the left warp. In here step on the
pink square and go forward to have a double battle. Now go back and step on the
button, and then do it again to open up two paths, go to the one on your left.

Go up and click the red square, go left to have another double battle. Go
back to the red square and step on it twice, which will allow a path on the
upper right side. Now go and step on the pink square that is on the left side
of the red one. Step on it 4 times to open a path. Go down to the other square
to open a path on your right side. Go up to the next warp. From the new area,
go to the next warp. You will now arrive at the gymleader. Actually, theres two

useful, also Ice. Surf can finish this battle for you. Overall this battle
shouldn't be that tough.

The best attacks to use in this battle is the one that hits both of the
opponents pokemon, if you dont have one like that, then use a powerful attack.
The admin and Maxie will begin with a level 36 Camerupt, and a level 42
Mightyena. Also dont depend much on Steven's pokemon, they wont always attack,
doing some other kind of attacks. Also concentrate on one pokemon, which is
usually the toughest. Also watch out for Mightyena's Swagger. Then when I
fainted Mightyena, level 43 Crobat appeared. Again leave Camerupt for Steven's
Metang, or whatever his pokemon is. Admins next pokemon will be a level 38
Mightyena. Admins last pokemon will be a level 40 Golbat. Maxie's last
pokemon will be level 44 Camerupt. Soon you should win this battle. When you
finish the Space Center should be back to normal. Go heal your pokemon then go
to Steven's house we went earlier. He will give you HM-08 Dive. Now get ready
to head south.

Go to the beach area, then go all the way east, then use surf. Go left a
bit then go down thru the path that leads south, it will also begin with a
double battle. Also be careful to my directions, as this area is huge, and
could lead you to 3 cities which are Sootoplis, Pacificlodge, and Evergrande
City. Go down a bit to arrive in Route 126. This route covers Sootoplis City,
and the only way to reach this city is to use Dive. If you notice in this area
many dark areas, those areas are where you can dive. Right now we dont want
route 126, but we are just gonna use this area to go to Route 127. Now you will
have a double battle. Also try to catch a Tentacool, as its very common here
and we need it to teach it Dive. Dive isnt a very good HM, espicially when
there is Surf. Continue going down to see a swimming trainer. You will also
see white rocks, those are also another indicator that you are near Sootoplis
City. Now go all the way right till you see some rocks, go south along it till
you see an opening which will lead you to Route 127.

Now go up to battle some trainers and get items which are on the islands.
When you finish go back, and go to the right side. You will also see a dark
area. From there go right to see a even huger dark area. Press A to use Dive,
and when you want to go out, simply press B. From here, keep going south till
you are forced to go right. Then you will have two choices, down, or right, go
down. Then continue on that path till you see a huge door to an underwater
cavern. Enter it to see the stolen submarine! Press B to go up to see this
cavern.

[____________________________________________________________________________]

Go to the beachy area and forward to enter a door. This is the Team's
Aqua current Hideout. This place is full of puzzles, so read my directions well.
You will also need Rock Smash and Strength. From the beginning go up ignoring
the right path. You will see a rock and a boulder. Break the rock and push the
boulder down. Go on the path you just opened and push the next boulder out of
your way. Now go up and battle the member. Go up the stairs and battle that
member for extra training, go back and enter the door. Now go left and break
the rock. Go all the way left, then go to the one at the top instead of the
one at the bottom, push it all the way to the top, then go right and break the
rock. Push the boulder twice and then go up to the next area.

In this area, you have to choose the current that will take you to the
top. Go all the way right and surf thru the current that takes you to the other
side. Then go to the current that goes all the way to the top, and you will then
have to choose three paths. Choose the upper one, then it will leave you in
normal water. Then go up to the current that takes you to the right. Soon it
will leave you in normal water again. Go left then all the way up to reach the
door.

Now in this area you have two path, go left and have a double battle, or
go right doing the puzzle. IMO, its better to go and battle. Go thru to the next
room. This room is kinda confusing. Now push the boulder that is in the middle
of the three boulders. Then push the boulder on your left once. Now go left one
step and one step up. Push the one on your right once. Now go right one step and
push the boulder thats up of you once. Then push the boulder on your left. Then
push the boulder on top of you. Go down one step, then 2 steps right which will
cause you to push the boulder to the wall. Push the boulder that is on top of
you, and push the boulder on your left once to finally solve this puzzle!

You will now enter a misty area, also take the item you will see soon,
which is TM-26 Earthquake, an awesome ground attack. Now continue going down the
stairs and keep walking on the path till you reach a lake with Kyogre in it!
Soon Archie will come and talk with you, get ready to battle him.

The battle shouldnt be that tough, Electric pokemon will probably be the
best type in this battle. The only who should give you troubles might be
Sharpedo, just be careful of their Super Potions, which might make the battle a
bit harder.

When you beat him, the Red Orb will activate, and Kyogre will awake and go
forwards to you and then flys away. Archie will get a call saying that up on
surface the weather is very weird. Archie will get confused of whats happening.
Soon, Maxie will come. Maxie will tell you to come and see whats happening. When
you are out in the island you will see strong rain, thunder, and sometimes
strong sun. Maxie and Archie will start to realize what they did was wrong.
Maxie will tell you to go home, and leave this to them, haha, they would be
doomed without us! Looks like we have to save the world. When they leave, Steven
will arrive. Its time to go to Sootoplis City, fly to Mossdeep first.

Heal and surf back to the exact area I was talking about in chapter 4.35.
Go to those dark areas on Route 126 and use Dive. Now in this underwater area,
its in the shape of a circle. You have to go south, and you will see a door.
You will enter a small room, dive out. Now get ready to see a short movie of
Groudon and Kyogre battling each other! When its over, you will be in the bay
of Sootoplis City. Go to land and you will see everyone looking at them,
including Maxie, Archie and Steven. Ignore the gym, as its obviously closed
right now. Also the same for the houses, its all blocked other than the Pokemon
Center. Talk to Steven and he will take you to the middle of the city. He will
take you to a cave, he will stop and go talk to the old man who is stopping
the way. You will now enter the Cave Of Origin. Its pretty simple, just go
with the path till you reach a ladder, it will lead you to a misty area. Go
to the bottom to find someone. Its Wallace, the ex-gym leader of Sootoplis. It
seems he tells you to go somewhere, which could be Sky Pillar. He also asks
you 3 questions, but if you choose either the first or second, he will just
say something and re-ask you. So simply choose the third answer and he will
then leave. Dont try to enter any house, the only places available here is
the Pokemon Center and Pokemon Shop, go back to Route 126 to go to Pacifidlog
city.

Go back to route 127, and keep going south. Soon you will reach an area
with a trainer between two rocks, battle her. Continue south till you reach
Route 128, you will also see an island with a trainer, hop off and battle.
Soon you shall see the place we were when we came to surface after battling
Archie, you shall see a trainer swimming around battle him. Go south a bit
to reach Route 129, and a new trainer to battle. Now go west instead and to
see a trainer swimming around. Now you have two paths, down or up, down has
a double battle, and up has a swimming trainer. Continue west to reach route
130 and a swimming trainer.

Keep going west, and it will be a while before you see a trainer. Soon
you will see two trainers, depening on when you make them see you it might be
a double or single. Continue going west to reach route 131, and another
double battle which is like the one before. Go west some more to meet another
swimming trainer. Another swimming trainer will appear if you continue west.
(Boring..right?) Continue west and at the top you will see two trainers, and
two others who will have a double battle with you. Soon you will FINALLY arrive
at Pacifidlog City.

4.38 The Wanted Rayquaza
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Team : Level 48 Camerupt, Level 49 Mightyena, & Level 50 Swampert
Your Team Should Be Between : Level 43 - 48

We now need to awaken the legedenary Dragon/Flying pokemon Rayquaza. It
lives in the Sky Pillar. It will probably stop the battle between Groudon &
Kyogre. After you have healed your pokemon at Pacifidlog City, go back east to
Route 131.

Sky Pillar isnt that far from Pacifidlog city. Be sure to surf RIGHT next
to the rocks at the top, so after awhile you will see an opening path that
leads to the Sky Pillar. You will also notice a male trainer swimming around
below. Go north thru this path till you reach an entrance to a cave. Go thru
the stairs then go right till you find an exit. Now you will see Wallace coming
to you. He will talk to you and he seems he tells you that we have to wake this
pokemon. Then a noise will appear from the Pillar. Wallace seems to say that it
has awaken and goes toward the Pillar. Before entering a even stronger noise and
a shake happens, which is followed by the strong rain, thunder, and strong sun
appearance. He then will disappear. The Sky Pillar is easier than in
Ruby/Sapphire, without having the cracks, so simply go thru the doors easily.
In one of the levels ( I think its either 3rd or 4th..) there are some cracks.
Step on them to take you to a area that was blocked by rocks, with a door.
Continue ignoring the following cracks you see. Also there are some nice pokemon
here, with pretty good levels to train with for Elite Four. Soon you will reach
the top with Rayquaza sleeping. He will then wake up. It looks pretty cool in my
opinion. He will then simply fly away!

Well.. what to do now? Just fly from where you are to Sootoplis City, as
we are close to finish this problem. When you arrive, you will see another short
movie. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Rayquaza comes out of the sky, with some light.
( Lol he looks like an angel. ) He then goes to both of the pokemon, and uses
some attack that pushes both of them away and they both sink away. Rayquaza will
fly away, and everything is back to normal! Go to the island in the middle which
contains the gym. Talk to both Maxie and Archie and they seemed amazed. Then
they will leave. Talk to Wallace and he will give you HM-07 Waterfall! He will
then move away from blocking the way to gym, and now you will have a battle with
the last gym!

4.39 Sootoplis Gym At Last!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Team : Level 48 Camerupt, Level 49 Mightyena, & Level 50 Swampert
Your Team Should Be Between : Level 43 - 48

This gym mainly uses water pokemon, I think your pokemon should be in a
pretty high level, around the late 40s. It should be if you battled every
trainer in the trainers chart that comes with each chapter. As usual this gym
also contains a puzzle. Here you have some ice blocks, step on one and it will
crack. Step on it again and you will fall down to an area filled with trainers.
Oh.. and you have to step on each block to open the stairs to the next one,
which will be harder. There is 3 overall. The first one should be very EASY,
second might need some experience from Ruby/Sapphire but it isnt that hard.
While the third is pretty hard, but dont worry, Ill give you the exact
directions to pass it without battling any extra trainers.

The first puzzle's directions (From the last stair before entering the ice
area ) :
- 1 up
- 1 left
- 1 up
- 2 right
- 1 up
- 1 left
- 1 up to climb the stairs to the next puzzle.

The second puzzle, the beginning point is the same as before :
- 1 up
- 3 left
- 2 up
- 2 right
- 1 down
- 2 right
- 1 down
- 2 right
- 2 up
- 3 left
- 1 up and enter to the next puzzle and the last one.

The third and last puzzle :
- 1 up
- 5 left
- 3 up
- 1 right
- 1 down
- 1 right
- 1 down
- 1 right
- 2 up
- 1 right
- 1 down
- 1 right
- 1 down
- 1 right
- 1 down
- 1 right
- 2 up
- 1 right
- 1 down
- 1 right
- 1 down
- 1 right
- 3 up
- 5 left then go up the stairs to finally meet Ardan!

Ardan uses water pokemon, so if you had listened to what I said in New
Mauvile and caught one of those electric pokemon, then it would be very useful
in here, also in the watery routes and the gym trainers here. Of course Grass
will do well too. Overall most of his pokemon are pretty easy, but Kingdra will
be a real pain in the rear. He mainly uses Ice Beam, when his HP is low he
uses rest then has a berry attached to him that heals sleepness. Then he will
continue with Ice Beam and Double Team which will lower your evadiness and
pretty much annoy you. Luvdisc might be annoying if you use a male pokemon
with attract, the rest are pretty simple, just attack till you faint them. So
congratulations on winning the last badge, Elite Four.. here we come!!

If you need some extra training before going to the Elite Four, then you
can surf around the circle mountain covering Sootoplis to find around 5
trainers. There is also a nice group of trainers north of Mossdeep City with a
cave which I will make a section for it AFTER I finish the Elite Four. Now
when you finish these battles fly to Mossdeep City and surf down to Route 127.
Oh, and bring a pokemon that knows Waterfall. As you can see in your map that
Route 127 is pretty big, so bringing Max Repels for the annoying Wingulls and
Tentacools will be useful and some patience. While surfing down Route 127 you
will also notice dark areas for diving, which led to the Underwater Hideout.
Soon you should arrive Route 128. You should see the island when the disaster
began, and to the west and east a trainer on each island. The one on the west
should be already battled when surfing to Pacifidlog city.

Go down a bit from the island, to see a swimming trainer. Now go right,
because if you go down you will enter Route 129. Soon you will see a big
island with a fisher on it. Hop off to have a battle. Continue right to meet a
swimming trainer. The route will become thinner, and soon you will see two
trainers and might be a double battle depending on when you 'activate' them.
Continue right to see the route get thinner and soon you will arrive to the
beautiful city of Evergrande City.

First, you will see a waterfall blocking the way. Press A when you are in
front of it to use waterfall and climb up the waterfall. Now you will enter the
city. Actually its really only a Pokemon Center and the Elite Four HeadQuarters
and the Victory Road. Enter the Pokemon Center and you will see Enshida. Heal
your pokemon and take the pokemon you need from your PC. Then leave and go north
to enter the Victory Road, the place that has the toughest trainers and pokemon.
Also dont forget to bring a pokemon who knows Flash.

Well, Victory Road has everything tough, pokemon, trainer, and puzzles make
this place a tough place. I recommend you to not battle the wild pokemon, it
will weaken you, we first want to beat the trainers. From the beginning go
forward then left then up. Then continue on the path till it goes down and you
will see a trainer. Go down then left and go through the stairs to go back to
the beginning. Go up then right to see a stairs. Go through it and when you
began to walk through the new path you will be stopped by.. Wally?! The last
time you met him was when you beat him with his level 16 Ralts. But now, he is
WAY stronger than before. This could be a tough battle, mainly Gardevoir will
be the most painful one. When you finish it would be better to go back to the
Pokemon Center and heal, as your not that far inside the cave.

Now go back to the same place where you beat Wally and continue forward.
You will soon be stopped by a trainer. When you finish go down thru the ladder.
Here you will need Flash. Go down then left and push the boulder. Now go down
then right and push the boulder away and continue thru this path. You will see
a path closed by a rock, ignore it and go up to see another path closed by some
rocks and boulders. Smash the rocks and push the first boulder down, and the
second one up to continue the path. Soon you will meet another trainer. Continue
to soon see some stairs. Climb it and go across the bridge. Go down to reach
a ladder going up.

Here you will find a deadend and an item. Go back to the first level, and
jump over the ledge and go left to the ladder. From here go up and get ready
to have another battle. You will now reach to a small lake. There are two ways,
the long one with some extra trainers, and the short one. The stairs lead to the
long way, and the waterfall leads to the short way. Those who choose the short
way skip the next paragraph.

When you finish climbing the stairs, follow the path to see a path leading
to a stair. Go up to it to reach a room with an item which is TM-29. Now leave
and go so back the first area and go south. Soon you will bump into a trainer.
Be careful to not jump over the ledge and go left crossing the bridge. When you
finish with the bridge, a double battle awaits you. Then cross the following
bridge. Soon the path will go up north and a trainer will be waiting for you.
Continue on the path to reach a waterfall. Ignore the waterfall for now and go
east on the lake to reach a waterfall. This is the first waterfall, the way that
lead to a shorter one.

Now for those who had to climb the waterfall, and for those that took the
long way, now go west. Soon you will see a trainer on the land, this is the
Vinstrate's older son. The one they said you cant beat, prove them wrong. Take
the item and go west some more to reach a waterfall. Go all the way right to
reach a ladder, but there's also a new path below. The below path is a longer
way and is pretty simple to go through, it contains one trainer and a double
battle. The ladder leads all the way to next to the double battle trainers, so
choose your way.

Now after you finished battling the double battle, go down. You will be
stopped by two rocks and two boulders. First break the upper left rock, then
push the bottom left boulder pushing it down. Then break the bottom right rock
to open a path, and making sure that you DONT touch the upper right boulder or
it will ruin everything. The short path will lead to a ladder. In the new area
climb up the stairs and go across the bridge. Climb down the stairs and go
all the way north. You will soon be stopped by a trainer. Go up a bit to be
stopped to have a double battle, which are kinda hidden under the bridge.
Continue on the path till it turns right to see the exit! You will now be
pleased by the beautiful path that leads to the Elite Four HQ.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.42 Elite Four
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This it it, get ready, heal your pokemon first. Then get at least 10
Hyper Potions, Full Restore and Revives. Go to the door that is blocked by the
two boys, soon it will open letting you enter to battle the Elite Four.

[____________________________________________________________________________]

1. Elite Four Sydney : Sydney uses Dark pokemon. Bringing Electric for Crawdaunt
and Fire for Shiftry and Cacturne. Its not a very tough battle, so you should
be able to beat it. Usually the first of the Elite Four is easy, so you should
have a good leveled Electric and Fire pokemon. You might want to get rid of
Absol because of Swords Dance which raises attack. Cacturne's Leech Seed will
be annoying so one Fire attack from a level 50 or so Fire pokemon will finish
him.

2. Elite Four Phoebe : Phoebe uses ghost pokemon. If you have a psychic pokemon,
then you will be able to beat this Elite Four easily. If not, then use your
Electric, Water and Fire pokemon, but be careful that you will lose PP quickly
against these pokemon. Be careful of Dusclop's Confuse Ray, Sabyele's Attract,
and she is a female, so make your male pokemon careful.

3. Elite Four Glacia : Glacia uses Ice and some Water pokemon. Electric and
Fire pokemon will have lots of fun, and you should have those two types in
your team. The only pokemon that might cause you some trouble is Walrein. With
Blizzard and Sheer Cold, which are very strong Ice attacks, so quickly get rid
of Walrein. Also be careful of Glalie's Explosion attack, could be deadly.

4. Elite Four Drake : Drake uses Dragon pokemon. Ice pokemon are VERY wanted
here. Dragon pokemon will also work, and Electric pokemon as they are some
Dragon/Flying pokemon. Also be careful of their speed. Flygon will use Sandstorm
which is pretty much nothing, but Dragonbreath could be annoying, as its a
pretty good move which might cause Paralze. Mostly, Ice and Electric pokemon
will do well here.

Champion Wallace

Trainer 1 : (Champion Wallace Battle) Pokemon : Level 57 Wailord, Level 55
Tentacruel, Level 56 Ludicolo, Gyarados, Whiscash, & Level 58 Milotic
[____________________________________________________________________________]

The Champion Wallace : Kinda suprising to see Wallace the champion instead of
Steven right? Wallace uses Water pokemon, so Electric and Grass pokemon will
do well. Milotic can be a tough pokemon, so quickly get rid of it, and watch
out for the triple or more Hyper Potions. A strong ground attack will do it
for Tentacruel, and a tough rock attack for Gyarados. Overall, the champion
isnt that strong, mainly because he uses mostly one type, which Electric
pokemon can easily beat.

When you beat Wallace, you are now the Champion! Congrats! The rival will
come and tell you that s/he has some advice for you. Then she will realize that
you already beated him. S/he will be suprised, and Prof. Birch will come
and congralate you. Soon Wallace will take you inside. This is the Hall Of Fame
room. In where they will put up the pokemon's you used and your name. Soon the
credits will appear. THE END

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.43 The End?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, now that you have beaten the Elite Four, is it the end? Nope. Now
you will be back at your sweet room. Go downstairs to see your father talking
your mom. He will congrat you on beating the Elite Four, and give you the S.S
Anne ticket and leave. Your mom will talk to you, and then ask you to look at
the tv. She will then ask you if the bird you saw is either red or blue. Now
be careful, you will now get to choose either Latias or Latios. The upper
option is RED, which equals Latias. If you choose the bottom choice its BLUE
and which is Latios. So now you are able to catch the one you choosed in the
wild, which will be very hard to catch.

Leave your house and you will find Prof. Birch and your rival. He will talk
to you and give you the National Dex. Now we can have some fun. Well, where to
go to right now? Lets start with the Battle Frontier. Its a new HUGE theme park
which has many tournaments and contests and many more. To go there fly to
Lilycove City. From there, go to the southern west part to see a building which
is where the ship will be sailing. Talk to the lady and show her the ticket,
then she will give you two options. Unfortunately we have to first sail to
Slateport City, and beat the trainers inside, then we will be able to enter the
Battle Frontier.

From the beginning, you will bump into Enshida. It seems he wants you to
visit the Battle Frontier. There isnt much to do here other than battling
trainers. Go to each cabin to meet a trainer, one cabin is yours, and the other
one has a guy who will give you TM-49. Go downstairs to battle two sailormen,
and look at the trash can at the upper left side to find Leftovers, a useful
item that heals around 20 HP each round without making you miss your turn. When
you finish go to Cabin 2, and sleep in your bed, and soon you will be able to
leave the boat. You will find yourself at the harbor, leave and enter again
and talk to the lady again. This time their will be a new choice. The one in
the middle is the choice for the Battle Frontier.
